The horse wearing the wolf armor is actually accurate-draught and race horses often wear "blinkers" that limit their range of vision to their direct front to prevent them from getting spooked by crowds or other stuff going on to their rear and sides.

I kinda hate blinkers, I enjoy horseback riding but it seems wildly uncomfortable for the horse to have its vision restricted.

I'm gonna be real honest here, they should have went the route of higher tiers of armor for wolves.
