Diamonds are a unique commodity. confusing, misunderstood and valued by many, diamonds have been studied and prized for as long as they have been known. Not only can it be difficult to make sense of the small details that separate diamonds when graded by trained eyes, understanding diamond value can prove to be even more difficult for many people.
When people, often men, first start seriously thinking about investing in a diamond, they usually have no idea where to start. Generally you start by looking at what qualities and characteristics most people look for and desire in diamonds is a first step, but that only gets you a small step into the process. once one has a reasonable understanding of the main diamond criteria you then need to make sense of how it works into the value of each diamond.
In this video we again look at the 4 C's of diamonds, but with the specific task of identifying where the best value for most people will be. "Bang for your buck" is an expression that fits well with what we are attempting to guide you towards. There is a range in each of the main characteristics for diamond grading that offers the average person the best value. There will always be different preferences, but these guidelines will allow the average person to shop for a diamond that will look beautiful without paying for what you don't need.
Whether you are looking for an engagement ring or finding a Diamond to enjoy in a pendant for yourself most of us want the same thing...the best value we can from the diamond within our own budget.

Great tips! We love starting with budget and value when shopping with a customer so we can get them the best bang for their buck. Diamond industry can be so complex for people who haven't studied...
Very informative video! Looking to begin the shopping process for an engagement ring and its nice to hear a jeweler that is honest that you don’t need that VVS1 diamond
great presentation, thanks, please keep them coming.
For round stones, inclusions not appearing on table is also a very nice choice
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. 💕
Thank you! Like your video. Very educational.
I’m looking to buy a parachute engagement. Thank you for the valuable information.
Thanks so much for your vidoes. It's really time consuming and confusing to wade through all this information and learn it by yourself. You have done me a huge favor. Thanks again.

That is why I do this! I am so glad you benefited. Thanks for watching.
Nice video, great info!
Oh my you are so on the spot. God bless you.
For stones around 0.5C , a very good cut, si clarity and H colour should be a good choice for budget concern.
This is an interesting perspective because I've always loved the cloudiness in quartz and would love to see more diamond jewelry with those same unique characteristics. As someone who has really no prior knowledge of diamonds it is fascinating to see how arbitrary the standards really are to someone who doesn't buy into the standards set by the diamond industry to sell expensive jewelry. Do you know where I could find stones with cloudiness? I love that diamonds are the the hardest mineral on earth and the amazing geometric cuts but I just don't care about clarity.
I really agree 100% with you thanks for that :D
Please - do not use background "music" especially while you are speaking. It just gets in the way. What you say is interesting and well covered - so the "drama" of "music" is never needed.
Thank you for sharing.
thanks for this very helpful
Would you say that G or H are noticeably more icy than I with a white gold setting oval stone?
Is AGS reputable for choosing diamonds?
Yeah but a lot people can't afford a real diamond 💍 ring. Lab diamonds rings or moissanite diamonds are stunning also.
Nice video thanks
Great video and thank you for all the information. In my research so far, I have come across the Decagon diamond. Have you heard of this and is it as good as they claim?
good stuff❤
Thank you for that infermation
Do you sell moissanite rings ?
I personally would stick to ideal or excellent cut

I agree it is often a good place to spend on the cut!
Thank u!
Define "a very good cut"?
thanks 🙏
Thank you for your insightful clips. Personally, I wouldn't go lower than a VS1 diamond. I found a wonderful bezel-set ring, with a K-colour VS1 stone. The yellow gold drew out the yellow tinge from the stone, so the diamond looks wonderful, with a glowing sparkle. I would highly recommend a K-colour and VS1. What do you think about K-diamonds?

Personally I would always go with better color, lower clarity. Anything above an SI you probably wouldn’t see without magnification and anything VS you definitely won’t see. A G-H SI1 is going to be a way better looking stone than a VS1 K. Just my opinion. Color is super important.
Try not to buy stones with feathers on crown and gridle area
I really have raw diamond ready to sell it but if you are interested please let me know to show you the video
❤❤❤
Hi carbon diamond meteorite weighing 19,000 carats
Sir I completed my diamond graduate course from IGI ....SI stones are more included on IGI reports than GIA.

I think this guy's education on diamonds far outweighs whatever you just learned from your little course.
Of course not black colour inclusions, no fluorescent.
Diamonds are worthless it's a fake shortage caused by the miners not releasing any amount of their worthless product that comes out of mother Earth😂
"cryteria"
Which one is better . 1. Diamond with VSI clarity F color and 40 cents round cut 2. Diamond with VSI clarity and H color and 45 cent round cut 3. Diamond with SI1 and H color and half a Carat round cut And why you consisdered any one of these ?
@Djspeeda

Probably number 3. as long as it is eye-clean (I.E no obvious/ large inclusions on the table), as it will likely be cheaper than the other two. You also need to take into account the cut (stick with ideal/ excellent or very good) and what lab certified the diamond (as mentioned in the video, stick to GIA/ AGL wherever possible)

Get rid the music dude. It doesn't help the real purpose of the video.

It didn't hurt either. Nothing wrong with the music.
