This looks really cool! One suggestion I have is to somehow incorporate cable lengths. For example, some cable runs have to use a longer cable (50 ft.), and some don’t need to be long so you could use any length cable for that. So if there was a way to incorporate cable lengths into the plan and packing list, I think that would be really helpful for a lot of people.

Sweet! Cable labels would be really great for permanent installs.

Built out a complex setup for this weekend with H2R gear. Great tool and helped me visualize the whole thing. Went pro for the patch list. Really helpful. A few things that would be helpful is 1. an undo. Found myself deleting some things on accident and pressing control Z doesn’t work. A bit frustrating. 2. Ability to add gear to my gear when searching items in community gear. I used the community library and it had most of what I own, but there is no easy was to add the items to “my gear” for easy use on the next plan. 3. Ability to resize text labels or zone text to be larger. Keep it up. Appreciate the tool immensely.

Hey Man, I absolutely love this APP! this is exactly what I have been looking for, for very long! I do have 2 small update Ideas though. Both Ideas are about the Cable connection lines. If two or more cross over, it would be helpful if they have little bumps in them, like in an electrical plan to be able to see that they cross, because sometimes it could be hard to see which cable goes where at the end. Also it would be awesome to be able to move a cable without having to add a corner point, to be able to clean up runs in the plan. For example I have a Video 40x40 and it get‘s messy fast otherwise 😅 Thanks for your great work! Keep it up!

Impressive. I’ll be creating a free account straight away. - My recommendation would be to build in a filter to view only certain equipment and it’s connections to isolate just what is in question rather than potential looking through a full diagram. Great work! 👏

More suggestions, on a great product .... Make a selection of a signal is Mono or Stereo. A headphones jack is stereo, A TRS is balanced, a TS is unbalanced ... and so on. Make an addition to the inputs and outputs that is BOTH IN AND OUT ... for network, usb, thunderbolt and so on :)

LOVE this software/app. Been using it for a while and it REALLY helps with building out my shows and event equipment racks. And the best thing is, I can create a "device" that mirrors the I/O of my racks to put into show layouts. Very handy!

I love this. I would like to see an input/output section like for usb/usb-c, network, etc which are not input or output

I just found out about your diagram tool from Aaron Parecki's channel and it couldn't have come at a better time. I'm putting a remote production together and this is really better than using Photoshop and Illustrator.

Assume that every piece of equipment needs power .... and make a mandatory field for what kind of power ... Euro, 2 pin, adapter .. and so on .... and a checkbox for pieces tat don't need power

Just a note: when adding gear from My Gear to a Plan, you have a checkbox to hide gear that's already been added. For some reason it's not hiding the gear I'm adding.

Nice application .... just one quick note for you ... When using your demo .. and trying to patch together a Behringer x32 and stage box .... it makes no sense ... A AES50 connection is not a input or output. Its just a connection that goes both ways ... so the input/output system will not work there .... Also .... There are TS and there are TRS jacks .... unbalanced and balanced ... :)
