To me the “he and him” is about God in the vaguest sense of the word. Whomever or whatever you believe in, faith, higher power etc.

No one will ever replace the complete entertainer that was Marie Fredrickson, but this was beautiful. Thank you.

I thought the techno version was the only version, but then I heard this on the radio and I just had to look it up!!

So beautiful, honestly the cleanest, I have ever heard.

I heard this song a long, long time ago and recently was reminded of the tune and minimal lyrics... It took a while for me to find it. Glad I did.

This song for me cuts so deep. When this was big back in 2005 I was involved with this amazing woman too bad she shattered my heart in a million pieces. And this song got me through those hard times. Such a beautiful and deep song. This and the Roxette original are very good in different ways

This is one of those songs where it doesn't matter who's singing it, it still turns out good!!! But nothing can replace the original!!!

This version isn’t trying to replace the original, it is sung totally differently. I love both versions.

I remember hearing this song for the first time years ago as a student in a big city, in my little apartment while it was raining heavily outside... I used to listen to it almost daily back then, and it always reminds me of that city and rainy weather and a bitter sweet loneliness 🖤

This song is emotional for me because, my dad has been in state penitentiary for 6 years he was a struggling meth addict for about 4 years and I am 13 years of age, my daddy is my twin, my best friend, and my other half, unfortunately he lives 800 mi.
