I have been doing this from my childhood , my parents use to give 11 coins and silver coin to wash but never knew the concept behind it. After marriage I have stopped all these retuals as they were not followed here. But today after watching this video I came to know why my parents used to make us wash same coins every yr on Diwali.

Slight correction. We use Jaggery instead of sugar. Rest honey, milk, curd, Ghee as Panchamrit.
