Thanks for your help. This was very informative. I’ve realised that in the past my family has always set the puppy up for failure just by having them loose in the house from day one. This is awesome. I’m about to get my first puppy of my own since becoming an adult and videos like this really help.

So how late is too late to setting this up? My Aussiedoodle is 12 1/2 weeks old and been with us for 3 1/2 weeks. Can I set it up now and it be helpful?

So when do you take it out of that area eg to play with it? Or do you have to step in that area to play with it? Is it left in that enclosure 100% of the time?

no, you only put the dog in that area when u are not able to supervise it for example, bedtime, when you're at work, when you're showering etc.
