Just watched the finale and yeah I totally wanna go back and watch the series again.

The moment we saw Deb in the trailer, we knew we were looking at the new Harry, Dexter’s new inner voice personified 😄

Harrison will be the new Dexter. I think Dexter will die in this season, Harrison will take over in the series and Dexter will show up as a ghost like Harry did in the first season...

I first started watching Dexter last year. Showtime announced the series was returning the day after I finished season 8. I was so damn happy it was like Christmas was when I was a kid. Since I was so disappointed in the ending.

I don't want this to end. Give us another 8 seasons. Or at the very least, a spin-off with Harrison as a code killer and Dexter as a recurring guest star. But I'd rather a full-on Dexter run for 7 more seasons.

His Southern accent is really sweet and subtle.

I don't think anyone would mind a few more seasons! This season is pretty brilliant! I won't say so far, because I'm pretty sure it will stay perfect.

As a conclusion to the series it's only fitting having it come full circle for Harrison to vaguely remember certain parts of his past similar to how Dexter did too.

Dexter's son is pitch-perfect played by Jack Alcott. It's really made the reboot work. It's worth revisiting if you are on the fence.

We just watched all 8 seasons again. It seems the writers ran out of ideas and there were many flaws in logic in seasons 6, 7 and 8.

I think 6 was exceptionally bad but I thought 7 and 8 were still good. 8 gets a really bad rep due to the ending, but now having New Blood should appease a lot of the hate season 8 got as a finale season.

Dexter never ended for me. I watch every season every few months. It was great acting with a great story. I hope the acting picks up and gets more comfortable again…felt very cheesy and awkward.

The most gorgeous man ever to grace my tv screen.

I was really hoping for 'Dexter & Son'.

Dexter's son being like him brings the story back to Dexter being with his brother Brian so that they wouldn't be alone in the world. Interesting.

Props to Jack Alcott on killing it (pun intended) - perfectly cast and very well played. Excellent acting!

So good to see the tarp honestly was loving every second of it

I liked the show. Both Dexter and Dexter New Blood. The books the show is based on were also good. I'm on book 6

End of season 9 was really bad, i thought it couldnt be worse than the end of seaison 8 but it was. Dexter would have deserved better ending and better writting for the last episodes. The end of season 4 was the better ending.

Nah it’s better to show his son going through the stages of becoming a killer instead of already being one.

I think there's kind of alot of hidden animosity within the showrunners and operators, seeing how as it's inspired murders and is a cathartic romp.. I know it's gotta be weird getting praise for something and then thinking about the guys out there who mimic this whole thing, relate to it etc..

He should go buy trash bags gloves, a roll of plastic wrap and a big knife all at once 😂

The execrable job the brass did with "season 9" was a betrayal of the Dexter saga and of this fine actor- too bad!

It sounded like he won’t have the restart again, either they end this series with him dead or alive.

Michael: "That was too impressive, so I put it in their neck..." Me: "I knew it!"

Dexter is genious..the way he keep all these cops going around in circles..just to be taken out by a small town cop and his son..that are nobodies do us.. 10 years later is cruel and dumb

Only because they wantes to end the series. The kill on that guard in the prison was so out of character, Dexter would never do something like that since they didn't have strong evidence, and he would never rely on Harrison to support him after he killed an innocent guard. Other than that, first 9 episodes were so good.

It didn’t make sense. Jim Lindsay writes great Dexter books but how did Harrison, not only find he was alive, but found him in that out-of-the- way place?

That’s because Dexter sent a letter to Hannah from Oregon asking if Harrison has any dark tendencies. Harrison found the letter after Hannah died from pancreatic cancer and he has been searching him ever since.

No such thing as a small town in New York lol. I thought he was in Canada given all the snow and Indian reserves. And I thought he became a lumberjack at the end of dexter. Imagine faking your own death to then not flee the country

The weird thing is for the first episode, I must have blanked, because I was sure he was on the west coast or in western Canada. I do not know why I believed it - something about the forests and scenery. When they straight out mentioned NY I was like, wait - what? LOL That is so bizarre!

It will be pretty dumb if Harrsion turns out to be just like Dexter and wants to kill people. He certainly didn't seem damaged by what happened to his mom in the later seasons so I don't know that they can use Rita's death as some kind of trigger.

Dexter did have worries about Harrison in the later seasons, I remember a scene where Harrison had scratched a kid at school and Dexter was worried about it. There was always a worry that Harrison would be damaged. The fact he also was raised by Hannah is another problem - at least Dexter was a somewhat moral killer, whilst Hannah showed no problem killing anyone that was in her way.

Why tf did Harrison kill him honestly 🤧 why can’t they ever satisfy the viewers, maybe dexter deserved it but we audience deserved a better ending. So he finally opens up to his son about who he really is and he kills him? Damn that was heartbreaking. The letter at the end was amazing tho.

The timeskip should be 12 years judging from Harrison’s look, but actually it is 10 years according to the producers.

@@marmac83 Forget about the eight years real time. This number is even worse. Harrison was 3 years old and if it were 8 years that makes him eleven. Unless he has some disease accelerating his growth (there is), the current look of Harrison is far older than 11 years old boy.

Yeah honestly it's just something that should be ignored for enjoyment sake. This reboot might not have been able to happen a couple years down the line. Just like that awful CGI deer, we gotta just laugh sometimes.

@@TheMrDunker I found that CGI dear was quite realistic, at least to me. However, they should at least say the event in new blood is 12-13 years (No more than 15 years) to be consistent with Harrison's look.

@@armnakornthab6867 Harrison was 3 in season 7. There was also a time jump after season 7 so Harrison was around 5 in season 8 so after 10 years he should be 15-16.

Harrison will kill Dexter.

Jesus loves you. If you repent of your sins and give your life to Him: He will fill you with love, give you happiness in your life, and bless you. The next time that you feel sick or worried or scared, ask Jesus into your heart and your life will get better. Videos will never fill the void inside of you, but Jesus will if you give your life to Him. He will love you, keep you company, and answer your questions. He is real and a lot of the time He will speak to you through your conscience. God is love and everything good comes from Him. Everything good in the world comes from love. Romantic love, familial love, friendship, the love you feel for your hobbies, the love you have for your favorite music, favorite food, favorite movie, etc. All of it comes from God. Without love there is no point to life. It is what we all live for and it is what we were all made for, but the devil tries to ruin everything with fear, stress, worry, etc. Try to get to know God. He is truly worth worshipping.
