When you think about it, every Ghostface in this franchise has been extremely narcissistic, always blaming someone else for their actions, always saying they've been hard done by, always saying that their experiences justifies them killing friends, acquaintances or even in the case of Scream 2, total strangers. Scream 4 and 5 just made their narcissism more obvious. And it's always in opposed to Sidney who's handled every bad thing in her life starting with her mother's death by day by day trying to put herself together and get her life back, even to the point of trying to help others ie Scream 3 when she was working on a crisis centre hotline, listening to and giving advice on other peoples problems.

“the home girl has a crush on tara” makes me laugh cause on the original script they were girlfriends. obviously they took that out idk why but it’s clear that they left hints on amber because there was so many times amber could have killed her and didn’t, she killed the guy that worked with tara which had no connection to anything not even the friend group like it was giving if i can’t have you then nobody can and i think they also mentioned it. Also the voice changer doesn’t matter all of them have it bc it distorts their voice. Richie had it because he obviously can’t use his original voice so it can be a man or woman

I love scream 5 sm and jenna's acting in the movie was amazing

I’m 100% convinced that she’ll be a future ghostface just from that Easter egg. I theorise that a few years after the events in scream 4 happened and she lost the fame she gained from being a ‘final girl’ she grew fame-hungry and ought to seek what she thinks she deserves. I saw this in the movies when it first came out and I literally cried when Dewey Died he was so sweet and considerate and always put himself in Harms way to help people and he became my favorite. Most people don’t like when Sam saw billy in the mirror and he was helping her kill ghost face but I loved it

Clearly they had to survive the first movie to become the core for the second movie they're basically the new trio, but it was kind of a subversion of expectation that you would think Randy's niece being the new Randy would die. But no, they need to survive to have a continuation of our original crew. And how many freaking relatives are there going to be in this franchise? My god not just Sydney's family but Billy's and of course the Riley's and the meeks' by the way, I don't know if you caught this, but apparently Sydney's kids are by Mark. The cop from three and Randy's. Niece and nephew were by Joel the cameraman who found his body. Apparently he met the sister at the funeral and they got it on. I don't know

Dont hate me for this but i LOVE amber she by far had the best reveal, brutal with every kill, brutal with hurting tara, and did WAYY more work than r*chie, also mikey Madison

I LOVE that Mindy’s theory was correct the killers who wanted to inspire the next stab movie made her the killer in this framing that they were working with

Tara survived because they wanted her to. Any way I knew Amber was the killer the first time they showed her on the school grounds with everyone I dk just the way she acted and the way she looked at them all told me so but Richi it took me until Tara was attacked at the hospital to figure him out because Ghost Face never just knocks you out he or she always stabs even if it's not deep enough a cut to kill but still. Also side note the voice of the principle in the microphones was Drew Barrymore. I love this movie and how true it is to the original. If I had to put an order to how my favorites list goes for the movies it would be 1,5,3,2 cause I really hated the 4rth one but that's just my opinion. I love Amber as a killer she's sassy and crazy the way they need to be and I do beleive that most of the killings in this movie were done by her as well.

My 2nd fave of the series after the OG. Shaking up the status quo by killing one of the golden trio, letting the first victim be a final girl (I am here for Jenna's career 🤩), and giving us a new hero to pass the torch. "How can fandom be toxic?!!!" The 'Stab 8' jokes are on point. I laughed too loud in the theater when they said it was 'directed by the Knives Out guy' 🤣🤣🤣 (for context - go check out any The Last Jedi reaction comment section 😬). Fandom stans really are the worst.

when jay mentioned the hand sanitizer at amber's death scene, i immediately looked it up and found out there's literal experiments with hand sanitizer and fire. horror productions always had those fire experiments on stuntmen before cgi.

Richie was such a genius almost no one thought he’s suspicious

What I find cool is that Billy Coming back wasn't CGI it was actually the Actor Skeet Ulrich but obviously Skeet is older so they tried their best to make him look like he looked in Scream 1

Yeah it was very cool the actor came back! I was talking about regards to de-aging him.. I looked it up after and apparently they did actually use CGI to make him look younger along with shaving his face

I agree with you Scream 2022/Scream 5 was so good. I also like it. Obviously it's not going to be perfect because they shoot the film during mid 2020 lockdown. But they all did their best💖

Girl I love that going into this movie you saw it coming that the sisters who are main characters now would be related to an OG character. They're not related to Sid no no. But good job cuz scream has always been about family and connections like that. Actually have a little notebook in my bedroom where I jot down how everyone is related in this freaking franchise

Dewey deserved it. He had a damn gun which a weapon u use at a distance. He didn’t need to get that close up on the killer, let alone get distracted by a phone call. The killer reveal was lackluster. Jill did it better

The sad irony is that Amber was sort of right when she said that Sidney wouldn't survive. It was just she got the wrong person - Dewey's 9 lives were up. He's the only one who gets as badly ripped up as Sidney in every movie.

Amber and Terra were dating in the script and early promotional material. I dont know why they edited it out of the final movie but it explains why Amber acts to overprotective of Terra.

It was a mistake in my opinion to edit this out because it makes Amber's actions seem bizarre and obvious that she's the killer. Where as if they were dating, you would just think she's being protective of her girlfriend.

Bro, not a spoiler for number six cuz I don't know if you've watched that yet but I will tell you back. When I first heard there were recording a sequel to scream, my theory was going to be that it was going to involve family because there was that connection to parents in the first one. So I figured that since it was such a huge part of the story that Sid lost her virginity. I figured she was going to get pregnant by Billy. I mentioned that first time I saw somebody react to this movie and somebody in the comments was like well. You kind of predicted this movie like 20+ years well sort of cuz. Billy does have a kid in this movie so he did get somebody pregnant during the time frame of that movie and Sid finally has kids but their kids are not related. Their kids are not by each other. And I love the fact that there are so many kids who are going to be important characters going forward? Who are the babies of the OGs and though the mothers may be more important characters than the dads, the unseen daughters of Sydney are by Mark the cop from 3 Randy's, niece and nephew by his sister who we met briefly in the third movie. I don't know if you caught this, but their dad is the cameraman whose van Randy was murdered in! I can only imagine they met at his funeral, became friends and you know got it on years later

Love this movie until the reveal because Amber bodying Dewey like she did was shit I wasn't accepting.

I’d be staying as far away from Sydney as I could. She may survive but everyone else dies. This was one of the best sequels in the series. Better than Scream 4 and way better than Scream 3.
