What about reliability?
Just returned mine after not even a half day of work. Same issue like the previous models battery connectivity to a gun.

@@hammerandhome nope, use my Makita drywall gun instead. No issues
The old one had a terribly-placed fwd/rev lever right over the trigger and it was so loose that I'd push it inadvertantly while putting up a sheet and the gun would spin in reverse 😡 Possibly the biggest design failure I've seen on a Dewalt tool. Will upgrade, thanks for the share,

@@hunterlang6035 nice! I think you will really enjoy it. Practice a bunch on a scrap to get the feeling of it.
im on my second one and it still doesn't push screws even with the drywall.....im completely confused. it definitely doesn't back screws out it just grinds and makes noise.

Regular drills are great, but the speed of a drywall gun is nothing but impressive

Based on your comment I assume you’re either a DIYer or a General Contractor/ working for one… Drywall Screws are used mostly for … Drywall… anyhow, Drywall Contractors use these a lot since the Screw gun is insanely fast and Drywall Contractors are well known for finishing fast. Easily my favorite part to home remodeling besides floor sanding
