Good point, though I wonder if anything outside of more raw power will make much of a difference against Levan. If Devon can't generate as much or more raw power than Chaffee did then he's toast.

Devon is letting them get in dominant position, elbows off the table, and use any tactic. He wants to maximize every strength, legal or illegal, they have, so he can build up his resistance and endurance. He knows that will be the only way he can beat Levan, and he absolutely has a chance.

I've been watching devon arm wrestle since 2013. This is the biggest I've seen him!! If he can hold Levans hit then bleed him. It's game over!! I think Devon still needs to train for power instead of insurance though 💯💯

He actually still has time to make a difference in that area but we'll never know because Devon is stubborn and displaced on taking advice..after Dennis beat him he preached a year on the difference is their training of strength & power..Devon want lose because of his hand or arm,it'll be due to the fact he want have enough power in ability to drag from back power/ rear delts,delusional, and lats..or will he be able to engage power from chest and side/front delts to hold or advance center. No ability to drag back,no Ability to drive sideways, no chance...he moves super light weights and trains with little small wild and reckless novices. Levan trains with super heavy weight and world level men..I love Devon am pulling for Devon but he's a major flaw and miss calculation

I mean if your opponents can have free floating elbows, and you're still beasting them, all is very well.

It’s crazy how one minute Devon looks kind of skinny and then literally a week later he looks like an absolute titan. Starting to look like the devon that beat Michael Todd

He spent 6 days straight with Matt Mask's training club prior to this.

Looks like they got some pretty stout boys up there in Edmonton. Looks like Devon was able to get what he needed.

People keep saying Devon needs to train for power. People, he is. These guys he's holding have insane power , they're not pushovers by any means. Devon is training for "endurance" power, which is what he's getting. If he just went for power, then he'd get a lot bigger, but he'd be training for "hits" and his hit will never beat levons hit, especially at his age. Endurance is the key to Devon's success. Trust him, he's been world champ for a reason, he knows what he's doing.

Keep in mind Genadi dominated MT as equally as Devon did, although Devon might have finished Todd a little faster than Genadi But Ermes , the same guy who toyed Genadi, got destroyed by Kurdecha 6-0 who is now vsing Dave Chafee who got toyed by Levan 6-0, If Kurdecha 6-0 Dave, then he is comparable to Levan Devon would have to be able to Dominate Ermes just as much as Kurdecha did, meaning Devon would have to be able to beat Ermes 6-0 or 5-1 to be able to have a chance at Levan If devon doesn't stop Levan on round 4, he's going to get 6-0'd the same way kurdecha did Ermes, who is at his strongest he's ever been and still got destroyed

I realize that Devon is letting them take the upper hand and get a strong dominant position, but he is close to getting pinned against some of these guys, and seems to be exerting himself pretty hard to stop these guys. Maybe that’s not accurate but that’s just my perception. You have to remember that Levan has the strongest hand and arm in the world, and his training partner, Irakli, also has one of the strongest arms in the world. Levan is probably at least literally twice as strong as the guys Devon has been training with. Larry Wheels could not even budge this dude’s arm with 4 HEAVY BANDS attached to his arm….I also don’t understand why Devon doesn’t train with some of the strongest guys in America like Hutchings, Chaffee, John Brzenk, etc.. add some band resistance for god sake…Something to prepare you for the immense strength you’re about to face. But who knows, maybe idk what I’m talking about. who am I to question one of the best ever. But I’m Definitely rooting for you Devon.

What do you think now that Irakli lost to Hutchings? Hutchings said some weeks ago that he stood no chance against current Devon, he couldn’t even move him from the center

Haha these are the elbow manoeuvres needed to pin an elite puller in training. These guys are strong even though some elbows flew freely. It’s still Devon; few people can get a pin even when fouling.

against devon you only have one chance and that's when you start. On the second try he's already read all his moves he's already studied all his strength it's practically impossible to beat him. Every opponent of Damon has to put all their strength into the first game.

He’s getting stronger over long periods of time but he’s not building absolute strength. The guys he’s pulling are so far below him it’s takes 100s of pulls in compromised positions and atleast hour into practice for Devon to even get anything from it. It’s building more endurance then strength. Now he could he be progressing off the table but from a recent podcast he said he’s only doing pump work on other days. Now if he did a round robin of some of top pullers in West my and decisively beat them my tune would change. We’re not with him 24/7. So, Only time will tell. But from what is shown 6-0 Levan imo

@@jtyree0226 Endurance and strenght are two things that are connected to each other tho..he is going to spend so much energy to try to get a stop on the match whit Levan that he will be gassed out by round 1 or 2 at most, the peak strenght Levan get down to the table is just too much.

It is a miracle that this guy even pinned him after so many hours of practice. Use your brain a little before commenting something. The outstandingly fabulous idea I had about the levels and difference in levels, like you can surprise a champion once or even twice with your energy, speed, something different after a number of opponents, but they always adapt, come back and they still have that initial power, strength, knowledge advantage that will keep the distance between the two opponents relatively the same. This applies to any multiple different kind of match ups, not just arm wrestling. Thanks for reading.
