Most singers lose something as they age. Devin's vocals have only gotten better with the years. I can (and do) listen to him all day....

Devin is awesome and yeah his voice is still incredible 20 years later.. this live studio version was recorded in early 2002.

I was never into that album except for "deadhead" for the longest time, but I am just now discovering that literally every song on it is worth listening to repeatedly.

A buddy of mine just recently introduced me to Strapping Young Lad and Devin Townsend Project. I constantly thank him. Such a killer musician and song writer!

You expect us to believe you wasted studio time( which is expensive asf and starts running the second the owner says it starts and goes even if you go to get lunch) just to go watch another band( which is almost always against the studio owner and the label the band is with wishes)? Alright.

I haven't heard Terria, but Ocean Machine and Infinty are nearly flawless, so it makes me wanna get Terria even more.

I have the same SG, to me they look like the stock pickups, which work unbelievably well with that guitar. Fantastic sound. Devy's always sort of been a minimalist when it comes to his non-SYL guitars.

Why are people here arguing on what influence songs have on human subconsciouness when we are all individuals?? I can use the same song to get myself really angry or to get myself really relieved and happy. The feeling depends on how you use the energy you get from the music... For example Deadhead: that song can make me really pissed off, it can make me depressed or it can make me forget depression and just make me feel like flying. It just depends on how i use it...

I think i stand for at least half of all the views on this clip xD A truely magic moment captured here!

well, i guess generally, all his guitars. Unlike the so-called "Guitar gods" who use unbelievably expensive guitars, Devin uses pretty simple guitar setups and superb engineering and rack effects, not to mention an unparalleled natural flair for kicking ass.

I like the original version better though,because at the end he gives it a little more power i think=) but great vid! and so cool to see;)
