I bought 3 guns from your top 10 about 3 years ago, from Spray Guns Direct as I lived in Manchester uk. I have resprayed a lwb Ford Transit in polar white and then a lwb Sprinter in Candy Orange as you gave me insperation when sprayed your tool box in Candy, I thought I would extend my boundaries and do the van in it. I had to replace and weld 10 lower body panels and forrm inner cills, fill and sand before spraying. I remember you warming up your paint as as it was below 30'c and I was spraying in the uk winter at freezing temperatures. I now live in Qld and I shipped my Sprinter which I converted into a motorhome before shipping. I would like to thank you for your informative vids and the time and consideration you have for beginners and hobbists. Keep up your great work and dont forget to get a vid on Gunman World too. As a footnote, I can't fault S.G.Direct, family owned (as far as I know ) knowledgeable and very helpful on the phone. Be seeing you, Cheers Bing.

I have the Tekna copper over here in the USA. I started painting cars as a hobby for family/friends and started with a harbor freight $10 gun. Anyone looking to do any kind of paint work spend the money on a quality gun. The amount of time you will save color sanding pays for itself on the first car.

or build your own at a fraction....sprectra spray gun for $99 US. Interchangeable parts with Sata, AKA good quality out of the gate. Upgradeable at any time to the point you may have to put a sata engraving on it. $$$$saver. and it sprays better than i can paint out of the box but only has a 1.3 HTE of 1.7 HVLP. been likeing the HTE but only have two guns to compare and neither are "high quality, only labeled professional lol)

I actually have heard the term “Plus” used far earlier than the DV1 models, here in the states we have a model called a Devilbiss Plus, which is basically a modified GTI , the “ plus “ means it has a slightly larger fluid fan and about a 10-15% higher fluid flow than the traditional hvlp/ hte models, I believe for the DV1 , HVLP+ plus, just means that they have done the same , more flow of fluid or larger fan and still meeting the 10 psi air cap requirement for HVLP, vs having to raise the air cap pressure to higher than 10 psi which would then qualify the gun for HTE and not necessarily HVLP ( all paint transfer rates being equal)

I remember when I first started as a painter, I wanted to make everything look like a mirror, over-reducing everything I sprayed.. but then after the years, I stepped away from that practice and just try to match the orange peel on everything by changing gun settings, air pressure and material flow at the gun. Any gun works as long as you stick with it for some time. I don't like changing guns often. This gun looks like something you would want to use for custom complete paint jobs.

hey gunny, quick question, i went middle of the road on most of my supplies ( its a garage job on about 60% of a 2006 c280. Perfect practice car... have plans for the gun in the future and legit jobs i want to do on my truck and bike im not going to just flip. Ive been DIY from the get go... had a failure on the roof with a gloss black basic mix color (cheap) It was general paint GenRock from the local shop. It was 55 * F outside and raining. Have a hell of an exhaust sytem rigged with 3 1/2 HP air movers used for flooded rooms etc. and a box fan intake. But i brought temp up to 81*F and that dropped humidty to 36%. pulled my insulated heat vent out and put the FILTERED (via Tape and a washable trim to fit particle filter good down to 60 mircrons, but the air has to turn a corner by design hopefully with air pariticles clung to the reverse staltic clung plastic cling side out. base coat flash at 76* F is 5-10 min. I lightly dusted the roof in gloss black , 5 min light dust again in a 90 direction 5 mins first coat. Solvent pop like a son of a bitch......was it the propane heat/ vapors? only other environmental that made it in is a single dog hair. Ive built 3 Paint booths as an electrician and serviced a few other. I completely get the concept, question is without spending any more of flippinf this repo, how can i clear the air without dropping must temperature and introducing the Humidity? Local guy says febreeze the garage with solvent prior to the first coat, good advice? sounds good?

Is there a good way to keep it around your wrist without putting it down and run long lines. If so that would be a really good video for a step by step. I cant find a video like that any where on youtube.

I just don´t get why you said that the Supernova will get more flatter than a Prolite. the T10 and T110 both will get super flat with proper aplication (more psi , closer to the panel , and slowing down a bit). will use less material also cause the supernova will throw the clear in the ventilation system more than on the panel :)
