Not to be a downer, but some people are just born socio/psychopathic. They have a perfect life that others would kill for, but instead of thriving in that environment, they choose to be evil against those who weren't as privileged as the psychopath. @@marz.6102 nothing. People can be socio/psychopathic and there's nothing wrong with that. It becomes wrong if/when they act out/go through with "evil" behavior, like killing someone. Not sure if you know this, but lots of famous people are probably sociopaths and you wouldn't even know, because they know how to manipulate others to get what they want. It's just a facade. I wouldn't consider them to be "in a world of their own," at least not until they get what they wanted from others.

This is soul medicine. I hope we all heal from the things we don't speak of.

My English teacher got me hooked on this band, this band is how he met is wife, it’s his favorite band and she was wearing a RKS Tee. Next thing you know they have kids, successful jobs, and still crank the he’ll out of RKS! Now one of my favorite bands as well.

Been going through a lot. Not being able to be in my little man’s everyday life. Having the person I considered closest to me flip a switch and just treat me like I’ve never meant anything to her. Replaced me with the first guy who didn’t ghost her within a week of kicking me out… I can’t thank this band enough for coming into my life at the right time. It was a dark 7 months, and somehow this music has brought a sense of peace I haven’t had in what feels like forever.

I’ve been through the most horrific indescribable things. This song encapsulates how I feel. The depression and anxiety are putting me through hell. I can’t seem to get past the trauma that happened to me as a child, it completely shaped my brain and life for the worse. I’m a 22 year old dude now and to be honest suffering is all I’ve ever known. The loneliness is slowly turning into hate and bitterness which I know only makes me a worse person. I just can’t seem to stop it. Like I’ve never had nobody so I just rot away in my bedroom, I couldn’t tell you the last time I touched another human it’s been many years. I’m trying to do good but it never feels like enough. The constant dissociation has a way of numbing me to the good stuff. Man I feel ridiculous writing this however at the same time I don’t care because what have I got to lose… nothing.

I understand this. Though I’m considerably older than you, I’ve been through quite a bit as well and I realize how debilitating depression and anxiety can be. Medication has helped me some in coping. Therapy can also help greatly. It’s awesome and brave of you to share here what you’re experiencing. I think if more people were open and vulnerable about how they really feel and what they deal with, it can also help a lot of other people feel not so alone in their struggles. Hang in there man and hopefully you can get connected with a counselor or something for some additional sources to help! You’re still young with your whole life ahead of you and things CAN and WILL get better! It just takes time and effort. Don’t give up! Wishing you the best! ❤

Come to think about it, the Devil didn't mean to be evil in the first place, and He did fail to exceed the expectation it was set for him, "the perfect true agent of God." I know people are commenting a bunch of different things and how amazing this band because of how unique this band's name is, this song speaks to an addict, as someone who is an alcoholic struggling to kick this addiction in the butt, it really speaks to you, the lyrics, melody, tone of the song...its heart wrenching really, and i dont expect anyone to understand other than the ones struggling the same situation, please comment and talk to me, i'd appreciate it, it'd help, and im sure this would help others...i sometimes hate myself

@Sea Spear I still visit this song and thought I lost my KZread account, fun to find this after randomly listening to it, I still struggle. "The devil doesn't mean to be evil but he regrettably forget to exceed expections" I'm the devil , and I don't mean to be evil, I just don't mean to live up to others requests and expectations, my depression gets the best of me, as much of me that wants to change, it's hard, I regrettably forget to exceed the expectation of bettering myself for others

With this comment I can already tell you are too good to hate yourself but also know you are to aware to not know people could always be better. Know that we all think that (assuming all people are inherently good but may have lost their way) but you are obviously caring and observant of emotional beings and that is a burden. That burden means you are stricken with a lot on your plate and probably care more about people around you than yourself. In your small comment I can tell you care too much and in this world that will make you feel small. Your words are so beautifully authentic that I would get aggressively supportive about how hating yourself is the opposite of the gift you obviously give to the beauty you see and you deserve to know you are too.
