great. now i have to spend the next two years of my life trying to figure this out. thanks again ido.
While I know I appreciate the videos you've done in the past, where there is just demonstration with little explanation, I think this style will be more accessible to a wider audience, especially those who aren't currently practicing movement yet. Kudos! It was clear, and in a couple of minutes got across how to start.
this is an ideal video format. keep them up!
Been following you for years. As always, elegant and simple. Love it.
"The best reason to move is because you can" - Ido Portal :) I quote that frequently.
Amazing! A simple concept but a great exercise. I'm going to incorporate this in my training. It's even fun to watch! Thank you for sharing your wisdom, Ido.
Been looking for something like this, great work.
So interesting that I have been doing some of these exercises for balance for playing basketball. It's so cool to see Ido doing these same movements. It always feels good to move like this..
Excellent movement pattern, thank you.
This is beautiful! I’m recovering from a head injury and finally feeling well enough to begin my movement practice again, it has been very challenging to be gentle with myself and bring movement back in a proper way that isn’t too much load for my recovery. This is just what I needed to challenge myself and get back to what I love doing. For years I’ve held onto a saying you said a long time ago “keep moving for all those that can’t” since my injury I’ve had to face the mortality of that in the blink of an eye everything can change. Never take our ability to move for granted, I never did, but I’m more grateful now that ever in my life for the blessing of a body that has the ability to move

Ive been working out for roughly 8yrs on and off.. I'm 24 and after all the trial and error I realize that my legs is what makes everything function as a unity.. I want to be able to increase my leg strength and mobility for everyday situations.. and I want to incorporate a more solid workout plan. on my off days I will use this to help make my lower and upper half sync. I appreciate this content, definitely interesting imo
Really nice this new format of videos, great video, I'll be doing it through the day

When gyms are expensive all you need is a floor and a bar to hang in the garage that's it. Ido and bar brothers are the best motivation
Thank you!
nice! great to see something unusual.
See, Conor used this movement for his fighting style to become a champion, but I can finally open door handles with my feet, we’re both winners really 🤷♂️

Great educative video
Very good excercises
This seems like a very good way to cover being out of position, which does happen oftentimes in anything athletic.
More of this please
Single leg deadlifts are amazing for helping with pistols. I like the turning during the training. I need to start doing sissy squats.
Thank you for this! Perfect timing for getting back now after I hurt my knee

Thank you! Gold you share if appreciated.
are GHR/leg curls essentials to balance out the strenght of the quadriceps ?
Excellent explanation and demonstration. Everyone can understand and participate.
Hello. I did this couple of times in a day and now for the next two days i feel pain around tail bone or lower back not sure. This has happened to me when i was little and to avoid this pain i developed anterior pelvic tilt. I think because of these excerisises my body is being, is being fixed into more balanced posture. I wish someone could help me with more information and to also let me know how to ease the pain. It feels like my walk is different but as if my muscle is inflamed. I guess i will rest for now and then continue on with ur movement. Thank yew for sharing this with me.
Very very very!
🙏
2-3 sets / 10-15 reps •Hinge hands lateral left •Hinge hands lateral right •Hinge hands contra lateral left •Hinge hands contra lateral right •sissy wide •sissy split hands lateral left •sissy split hands lateral right •sissy split hands contra lateral left •sissy split hands contra lateral right 3-5 sets / 2-3min of play
WOW
Another variation on the single leg deadlift is the flexed knee VS the extended knee. It activates the glutes, pelvic floor and abs/lower back.

hey Ido, I was trying to ask numerous times: I had to operate my inner left meniscus. what would you recommend for exercises? thanks a lot in advance.

Look up functional patterns or goata for that answer. Ido would say to do lots of repetitions in a range that is safe.

Anybody know what model Asics shoes these are? Ido turned me onto the Feiyues years ago, and while I still enjoy them, I dislike going through so many pairs because the soles don't last.
Please sir, may I have some more??
