The starboard engine of MV PERFORMANCE suffered a major breakdown and had to be replaced by a fairly used DEUTZ SBV6M628 engine. ALMAPPS engineers used their expertise to open the deck of the tug boat, remove the old engine, install the fairly used DEUTZ engine, overhaul it before commissioning, start up and successful sea trial. Through ALMAPPS collaboration with #QuantiParts, genuine OEM spare parts were used to overhaul the engine after installation. Finally the tug boat is back to full capacity.
