Look at Jensens Bedroom with the smart vision aug at the floor left from his Bed then you'll find an secret place at the floor. Pick up the wood floor and you'll find an E Book from Pritchard and an Message from Q about Malik. She's in Prag too. He tells you that she'll contact you. Shes got a job at Lebedev Global Q (from deus ex human revolution the missing link) says. I'll ty to find her.

ABSOLUTELY! Always save Malik! You need to take them down relatively quickly, within about 1 minute or so, especially the snipers & the heavy weapons guys first..once they are down, the game will relax a bit on letting you follow-up with the others..provided you don't take more than about 2 minutes or so.. If you fail, you will hear her injured on the comm..but if your quick enough, and use powerful weapons that take each enemy down quickly or in immediate single shots or blasts, and you don't pause in destroying them at all..keep moving & keep the smash up, hunt them all relentlessly..you are NOT their target..they are all YOURS! I generally find the Magnum Revolver, (especially with its Explosive rounds package attached!), the most effective for this, the sniper rifle is next best.. No pauses between kills that aren't strictly necessary to keep Jensen from harm, or swapping or reloading weapons..and you'll get it. This doesn't sound like much time, but once your familiar & accurate with your weapons & actions..it's plenty of time.. Then they'll drop a bot, which is also ridiculously easy to nulify..one EMP will do it..and your done. Malik tells you she's got the VTOL flyable enough to take-off, and does so..after a thanks. And you go enjoy looting the entire site & all enemies of all treasures, weapons & ammo..you'll likely be full of everything before your ready to leave & get on the elevator.. Just know that once you do, you can't return to this location. Anything left here is lost. Enjoy!

Saving Farida is quite easy even in Pacifist approach (if you've loaded yourself previously with stun gun and emp grenades).

I’m pretty sure In human revolution you can save Malik if you’re fast enough. I even remember doing it so if it’s canon she might be alive

You can save Malik in human revolution if you move quickly and kill all enemies before they get to her chopper, otherwise she surely dies and her augments is ripped, her neural chip etc by that augments scavenger that collects them. This Easter Egg is a nod to those that saved her.

You can actually save Malik from being killed. Damn that mission was a lot of fun, I had to enter the John Wick mode for quickly take out everything as a one man army

Slight correction: According to Warren Spector, the Studio Director and lead behind the original Deus Ex, the 0451 code is not based on Fahrenheit 451. The code was originally what was used for the offices of Looking Glass Studios in Cambridge. From an interview in 2015: "If you've been playing a lot of Looking Glass and Ion Storm games you know that the code here is 0451, which is first used in System Shock. It showed up in Thief, it showed up in System Shock 2, it showed up in BioShock and Dishonored recently, and in both Deus Ex games. A lot of people think it was a reference to Fahrenheit 451, the Ray Bradbury book, but it was actually just the key code to get into the offices at Looking Glass in Cambridge. But it's in so many games now, it's kind of a defining thing in what we used to call 'immersive simulations.'" That said, the achievement name is definitely a Fahrenheit 451 reference, so it's kind of just been accepted into the mythos at this stage.

no, he didn´t because this is not an easter egg. It surely is just a placeholder object to make it look like from outside that there is a random body in the box. However, it is not supposed inside the box to see the body and the devs never planned that.

The harvester questline. The mid credits 'hidden' video. The missing or fuzz memory. The fact that when he was recovering and had no memory they 'failed' to ID him even thoughhe had Augs with registration numbers on them. All point to something being up with Adam.

Did you know there is at least one Easter Egg in the DLC; Jensen's Stories: System Rift! ShadowChild (if you play Breach; you will know that name well) asks Jensen to leave a status in the office of someone in the Bank you trying to break into. This status is none other than Garrett from the Theif reboot!

U can save malik BTW, and if you don't, you can see her on an operating table lying very very dead inside a lab room later on in the mission

Fun fact, the keypad code to Jensen's apartment is also 0451. There's nothing that tells you this in-game. I just randomly decided to try it just to see, and sure enough, it worked. To leave the apartment without unlocking the door, use the computer to lock the doors, and then exit through the laundry room window.

That's actually a great detail of the sampling of Blade Runner. I've studied to the score so much and never heard that.

How does Farida even die like that? There was two options for me; the VTOL blows up due to being lit up by gunfire or you save her...

With the reference to Malik if you kill all the enemies you're actually able to save her. It's good they made it canon.

If you kill all the mercs in the plane crash scene you can actually save Malik with that Easter egg it means that doing just that is actually canon I googled it

That penguin achievement was a sludgefest in order to get. Feels like it took forever, lol.

As a Czech person I found tons of cultural reference and hints - good work to team creating this game, but on the other side, almost any use of written language and names (voice over is pardoned, because I understand financial and manpower constrictions) is stab in my hart, because in the its game inescapable and is almost as bad, as if eastern European trying to use English based only on half year of study and google translator (and no, authors HAD all necessary information from Czech side, but it was routed thru Polish company and deemed as irrelevant or so, and it ends how it ends). Unfortunately this is destiny most of the games with similar setting. :( BTW: There is no universe in which president of Czech Rep. has name "Růžičková" (for you guys from capitalistic west ( :D ) Ruzicka and oh my god using this name in sentence with inflexion as it is used in the game makes me just cringe :( ), because it is name of famous female comedian. On the other side, if I consider state of Czech politic scene, it make hilarious sense :D

Ditto. I felt the gunplay left a fair bit to be desired, but really enjoyed using stealth. Loved the world and atmosphere too.

The album that says WTF is referencing The Mara Volta record De-louced in the comatorium. Amazing record.

3:20 btw in in the director'c cut edition of human revolution you can save malik if you fast enough at dealling with all of the merc (either lethal or non-lethal way)

On the mission when you are ambush in human revolution, you can save Malik, and if you do, she help you later stages in the game. And if you save her, you trig a dialogue that she call Adam spy boy and he call her fly girl. so in canon, she is alive

If you were quick enough, you could save Malik in DXHR.

I noticed another reference. While walking around the town I saw multible walls with a Reference. I think it said "A Wrench is a Tool not a Person" or something like that. I believe that this is directed at the character Wrench from Watchdogs 2

The golden penguins are an actual thing in Prague.

During the Neuroplasticity Calibrator mission, when you speak to Mr. Botkoveli, Oleg asks Jensen why he is here. Adam responds that he is here "on behalf of a concerned third party". Botkoveli then responds with a side remark saying to his associate "You see he is a very private person". These are direct references to the character Harold Finch on the CBS scifi drama Person of Interest.

I think the penguins are a reference to Deus Ex: Invisible War. You visit the Antarctic in the game, There are developer quotes about not cutting the penguins from their development, and they have flaming penguins at an easter egg ending of the game.

You can save Malik in Human Revolution by killing all the attackers. That was pretty cool.

I don't know if this _actually_ happened or if I was hearing something from the TV in the other room- and I have no way to back this up since I wasn't recording at the time (and don't have a software that saves the last x minutes of screen capture and audio when a hotkey combo is pressed) but I was doing a later mission where you have to infiltrate the Dvali-run theater in the red light district. While going through the apt complex there, I stumbled across a henchman just watching tv in one of the apartments....so I came up behind him and shot him point blank in the head. After the typical "death groan", I could *swear* I heard him weakly say _" 'Tis but a scratch...."_ after getting shot in the head ._. can anyone else confirm whether or not that was one of the randomly-chosen npc death sounds from the list that it randomly chooses from anytime you kill an npc?

Wow i thought malik had the same fate as admiral ackbar. This hint is at least something, after spending so much time trying to save her. Btw using a 10mm pistol and 2 emp mines makes saving her very easy.

I've played HR dozens of times, and I've NEVER let Malik die. What kind of heartless animal is this guy??

Of course Malik is alive, you can save her.

I definitely saved Malik in the first game, she took off and thanked me, later she evacuated the kidnapped scientists in her helicopter when I liberated them. You just have to run through very quickly and take everyone out before they destroy the helicopter, I recommend the stun gun since you can one-shot the heavy armor guys with a body shot, also take out the mech right away with an emp grande, then finish off the snipers. Later you can kill the sleeping guys just out of spite if you're doing a lethal run. I later go on the city and kill all the cops just for revenge, what did Malik ever do to them ?

weird that Malik is alive because at the place of Tracer Tong u can find her dead body on an autopsy table

I've met a lot of people who had no idea that you could even save some characters of the franchise, like JC Denton's brother Paul. Many people would assume that they'll die regardless because they didn't poke around enough.

Malik is shot down by a Belltower operative with a rocket launcher. Malik attempts to repair her crashed VTOL, as it is under fire by Belltower troops. When Jensen defeats the Belltower troops to allow Malik to patch up the VTOL and take off, Malik says: "And...thanks, Spy Boy," then Jensen responds, "Any time, Fly Girl." But you have to defeat those troops as fast as you can otherwise she will die, it won't affect the story , but for the veterans of Deus EX , making every right decision is a must .
