Haunting. Was almost expecting something surreal to be happening at that place. By comparisson the real reveal was a bit...lackluster. The music is a masterpiece.

That's the thing with these deus ex, they start with that feeling and then fade out to the lackluster endings, it happened a little bit with Human Revolution and more so with Man Kind divided. Now you, like me give too much credit to the DLC atmospheres , they are just there to make you feel in the "future" maybe not because there's something surreal about to happen or be.

@@olaokolaok I didn't think that was the case at all with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The surprise survival-horror twist caught me off guard and really made the game end with a bang.

I love the Blade Runner/Mass Effect vibes in the music. Really helps to add depth to the game's atmosphere.

I think it goes with a lot of games, they build these huge amazing worlds and stories with great music/art design but the endings always fall short. Not just Deus Ex but also Mass Effect etc. many games fall short of it. I would just love to see Deus Ex come to a big global story arc / culminating point at sometime in the future. In any case, I love all the Deus Ex games, and out of modern games MD and HR are my favorite so far.

@@Dennis-nc3vw survival horror - let's be serious by the time i was in Pancheea i was swimming in tranq darts and electro-shock packs, energy boosts and a fully decked out laser rifle. I punched my way through them like it was nothing.

Drone: No threat detected. Maintaining security patrol.

Just get armor piercing rounds and destroy them (if you aren't playing pacifist or full stealth)

I feel like this is mainly composed by Sascha Dikiciyan feels too similar to one Mass Effect 3 track, and some Arrival DLC ost

Yeah you can really feel the diff between him and McCann. I think Sasha's music is more spacey than cyberpunk and while great fits more of SciFi type medium. McCann feels more atmospheric and grounded which suits Deus Ex. Overall I'm glad he was on the soundtrack but would have like a totally McCann vibe for the game.
