just started to build mine..the glue that came with the kit is dire..it leaves stringy bits all over the place..having to be super careful when using it ..... saw a post below that says you use alcohol glue gonna buy some tomorrow.......look forward to watching the rest of the video as i go thru the building process

I was generally pleased with this kit when completed. But how does the light sensor function? It doesn't respond somehow. Thanks.

Make sure that the light sensor is positioned in a location where it can detect changes in light effectively. If it's covered or obstructed, it may not function properly.

What glue are you using that sets so fast? Super Glue?

I use alcohol glue.Using alcohol glue for assembly can provide a clear and clean bonding effect. Here are some suggestions to ensure you get the best results: Apply Glue Evenly: Make sure to apply alcohol glue evenly to the areas that need to be bonded. Ensure that the thin layer of glue covers the surface sufficiently but not excessively.Waiting Time: Allowing 5-10 seconds of settling time is a good range. This allows the alcohol glue to slightly dry, forming a thin film and improving adhesion.Use Auxiliary Tools as Needed: If necessary, use auxiliary tools such as a small brush, popsicle stick, etc., to ensure even application of the glue.Handle Small and Thin Parts Carefully: Especially when dealing with small and thin parts, use glue with caution to avoid distorting the parts due to excess glue.Check Alignment: Before bonding, ensure that the parts are aligned. Once bonded, some alcohol glues can set quickly, making it challenging to readjust.Ventilation: Ensure good ventilation when using alcohol glue, as it can have a strong odor. Work in a well-ventilated area or consider wearing a mask.Avoid Excessive Use: While alcohol glue is effective, avoid using too much to prevent excessive seepage or affecting the appearance of materials.Store Glue Properly: When closing the cap of the alcohol glue bottle, ensure that the glue does not dry out. Hi, can I ask how u put the roof down? Is it supose to click into something? I'm having a hard job with it. Did you glue it down? Xx

I glued the upper parts of the roof and stuck them to the house below, check whether the house below is deformed if you can't put the roof down.

Where do you buy the optional music box from?

how did you connect the wires of the bulbs to the sensor?

Check the instruction manual for your Booknook kit. The manual should provide detailed steps on how to connect the wires and set up the lighting system. Strip a small portion of the insulation off the ends of the wires using wire strippers. This will expose the metal conductors for proper connection. LEDs typically have a positive and negative terminal. Put the LED light to the right place according to the manual and connect the same colour wire to the sensor.

I ordered this…I must say I am tremendously disappointed in the quality!!! . The blue color of the wall is beautiful everything else is extremely blasé. The quality of the printed sheet of books and files are very blurry. I am so disappointed. I wish I had watched this video first. I also thought ( my fault for thinking) the clock was borrowed out in the back wall, then you assemble. Disappointment all the way around except for the blue walls.

sometimes I will print the book cover by myself to use my own printer. It is fun for choosing your favorite pictures to print out for the mini book cover. The booknook kit is just give us an idea and you can DIY it.
