Beautifully done!

I hiked solo from Monterosso to Vernazza then to Riomaggiore in 2018. It was a great experienced. The scenery was breathtaking. passing through winery, olive trees and tiny streets. and ended up swimming in Monterosso after 6 hours of hiking. I already bought my air ticket to Rome in October and plan on going to the Amalfi coast. This video is a great idea in helping me how to navigate my solo trip.

Another great duel!!! Hope to see more. Once again, super job by all 4 debaters. I liked the switch up on the teams from the previous duel.

I was rooting for Amalfi because I'm going there in a few months, but the Cinque Terre presenters did a really good job

I love the effort put into this face-off, I have been to both regions and I felt they offer nearly identical experiences and activities. The choice should be whether we want something that feels more reclusive and pristine (cinque terre) or a more reviera international vibe (Amalfi) both will offer similar beach experiences, similar gorgeous views, similar food, similar romance and amazing Italian fisherman coastal houses. My love will always be sorrento.

We loved this ! We stayed in Manarola and it’s awesome…..Cinque Terre is for mountain goats though….so stay in Monterosso as it’s flatter …..the train is so great between all the towns

When we planned out our Italy trip last Fall, we went through this battle. In the end, Cinque Terre won for a few personal reasons: (1) My partner gets motion sick quite easily. Having easy access to the train easily won over the chance of her being miserable during our exploring if we went by winding road through stop and start traffic or a ferry; (2) We were already planning on going to Bellagio for a few days so we kind of already were going to get more of the "posh village" experience elsewhere; (3) We're not big beach people so a couple hours at the one in Monterresso for one afternoon was more than enough for us.

Rick Steves keeps,going back to the same cities in Europe. He never went to Bologna, Genoa, Luca, Torino, or other wonderful locations that see less tourism. It is tiring and sad that he does not😮expand to other regions of less traveled towns or cities. Come on Rick show more of the off beaten path of wonderful but forgotten cities.

Nice job! You really have to monitor the cruise ship’s port of call. We were literally run over by the hordes of ppl from cruise ships on the train from La Spezia Not fun!
