Gene in a interview was talking about the songwriters Kiss didn't want to work with prior to the release of Revenge. He named Desmond as the writer he didn't want to have Kiss write with for that album.

Gene might claim to hate I Was Made For Loving You but no doubt he loves the money he made from it.

Desmond Child did a lot of shit. Great stuff. The best part of his work is how transparent his work is. The band retains its signature overall sound but he comes in and maximizes the potential. Every writer should study his work. One of the best if not the best in rock history.
