We need more Marvel games after this. Like a Marvel Injustice to compete with DC's. A proper Marvel standalone fighting game that isn't a crossover with someone else(Capcom or etc). Something along the line of COC only better and deriving alot of influence from Injustice in the graphics and combat animations. And Super moves. Got to have those. They've gotta be on point. COC's Supermoves are meh. But for a console game they have to be powerful and iconic.

O K check it out it looks promising, made by the same people who made heavy rain which was pretty good, of course they also made beyond 2 souls and that one wasn't that great. I think they need to update their control mechanics too, bc it's just a bunch of QTE, but Until Dawn did a better job different studio btw.

That's game dev done right really. Typically a cosmetic thing should be just that; an optional preference. I always hate it when games force you to wear shitty looking clothing and armour etc because it has better stats when really youd prefer to have the more appealing costume.

Not only that. The suits will render in cutscenes and will also have their own version of suit damage and tearing. There is no reason to complain if the insomniac suit is bad.

It turns out to be True on ps4 pro.. The level of detail suit is insane

While the look has grown on me, I can't look at that costume and not see aspect of other Spider-Men or Spider-Man like characters blended into it. For example the big white spider in the middle reminds me of the Black Symbiote costume/ Venom, The white on the gloves reminds me a bit of Agent Venom, the shoes remind me a little about Ben Riley's Sensational costume and the lines through the red remind me of Homecoming!

Agreed. The eyes are also just like the ones in the MCU suit, and the shape of the symbol on the back looks like the spider symbol from the "amazing" spider-man films. I actually like that though, frankensteining the look together form all sorts of different designs.

This is literally my personal dream video game that I've been waiting for ever since Batman Arkham Knight because once I saw what was possible for superhero games on this generation of consoles, I've just been waiting for the same treatment for Spider-Man, and this is it...

Sunset Overdrive was funded by Microsoft. It will never come to PS4. I just hope Sunset Overdrive 2 comes to PS consoles, the true home of Insomniac Games.

I bet not even the movies put this much details when designing the suit. Insomniac really made the suit feels more practical rather than just some spandex costume

Finally a true a spiderman man game made by spiderman fans whi clearly put theit heart anf soul on the project and didnt just make a cheap moneygrab to promote a film

Your Spider-Man coverage back in 2018 was your best work ever done. This made me fall in love with Game Informer and the crew working there at the time. The 20 questions with Leo and Bryan for this game is a classic. Still love GI but haven’t listened in a while - hope to see amazing Spider-Man 2 coverage just like this one

I'm amaze on how sometimes (not all the time, but some) we forget how tallented is the people working in this industry. Just the quick resume she made on the research they made about the suit is f'king amazing. Paying attention at things like mobility parts, where would he be more vulnerable or which kinda clothing a guy in his age would have. :) Really looking forward for this tittle not only because of what Spiderman meant to me as a child but because I also see something especial in the people doing this. Nontheless they make these videos for that, right? :)

I dunno why people keep complaining about the suit it look pretty cool to me and now after watching this video i think it even looks cooler, but that Iron Spidey Suit tho 🔥👌 can't wait to see some gameplay of that

I can see the reasons. Its not the classic. People don't like the big white Spider logo. My issue is the blue over the shoulder straps.

True, plus with their confirmed post-launch DLC plans (only confirmed, no details IIRC) they'll have plenty of ways to bring Venom and the other Symbiotes into this universe. I'd like to wait until a third game, since it'll have to deal almost solely on the Symbiotes (there's arguably enough of them to make a team of major villains, and bring past villains back as side content and minor roles).

This was one of the most beautiful, most satisfying games I’ve played in a long while

They're small adjustments, but the rational that went into deciding the changes goes miles!! I love how changing the size and colour of the logo makes him stand out with the white knuckles along with the paneling and athletic shoe!

I'm wishing my year away just to get to September.

The various levels and makings of the suit is crazy well thought out! Now all the white finally makes sense lol

I finally broke down last week and pre-ordered the PS4 Spidey console combo. Haven't owned a PS since PS2. After watching all these videos, the care, thought, design, and love put in to this game by Insomniac makes me fully confident this is going to make feel how Arkham Asylum made me feel when it came out. That game reignited my love of Batman. This Spidey game isn't even out yet and my love for Spider-Man is already reignited. Top marks, Insomniac!

Everything I’ve seen with this game points to it being phenomenal. They’re putting in extreme effort to make this not just a great game but a great Spider-Man game. They’re doing it all with how the citizens react, how he reacts, how the body works, everything you can get right they’re getting right

I love Insomniac for their passion. It’s the passion I have but can’t do what they do. I vote them to create all of Marvels superheroes games. This same treatment.

I may not have been accepting and understanding at first about the new suit’s design, but I get it now and I respect it. Insomniac is ensuring their own legacy by creating a staple for a newer generation. Plus, given the damn near innumerable variations of Spider-Man’s suits, even the hardcore fans can’t be mad at Insomniac’s and Marvel’s decision for the game.

I love this suit next to The Classis and symbiote suit!!! The shoes looks like a Puma to me!

I was so hyped for this game

I'd be really interested to see the mo-cap of the stuntman 'climbing' the wall, so I could see the differences between how it looks in a video game, as opposed to real life. I could probably get someone to film myself climbing the floor or something, but it'd be better to watch professionals.

Most anticipated game!

I feel as if the white parts on his suit act as an absorbent to energy, like when he jumps from a high place and lands on his feet the material absorbs the energy allowing him to move faster. Same goes for the chest or the back. He might take a long fall but his back spider is energy absorbant, this is the case for if he ever lands on his chest during the game. The gloves would absord the energy from strong punches and such, explaining when spider-man hit the shockers helmet he only felt little pain for such a fast and strong punch. Thats what I think this white material on his suit is used for anyways.
