I would watch every second of a breakdown series where you commentate the simulation, coding, and 3D design processes. Great stuff!
When your kinematic diagram is straight up C++. This is inspiring, thank you for the awesome work!

This is a wonderful introduction to robotics, I have been searching for this route in terms of design, thank you from South Africa
I just come here to keep me humble. There are so many brilliant people in the world!
Thanks for the video. Things you built are always so clean and elegant, both your robots and your videos. Just started to play with some robotics simulation stuff myself a few days ago, really helps me appreciate the value of such tool a lot more.

Awesome built! A piece of art. I got a lot of Arduino staff from my aunt, her husband was gone two years ago and he was deep into robotics. I guess now I have to re-built an hexapod.
This is very high quality built robot! Great job!

What software did you used for the 3D simulation model? Is that Cinder? Is that included in the repo you provided?
Well, after such an amazing work, I felt the need to subscribe. Just awesome.
You should totally upload a full video of the process of designing one, this was really educational for someone like me who wants to get into this. Also what softwares did you use to design the things? Good job!

I just learned it years ago by trying things out. But it's important that you have a good understanding of basic linear algebra (using matrices to rotate and translate vectors) and trigonometry. But if you google "inverse kinematics robot" you find a lot of tutorials. not sure how good they are. Good luck!

Search for the KZread channel of Angela Sodemann. She has an entire course about robotics explaining everything you need to build a robot. On top of that I'd recommend the book "Modern Robotics".

You have to do a lot of trigonometry but over all it’s not that difficult, just time consuming

@@Gaminghero94 You can get normal servo's for RC Cars or Planes and remove the end stops inside their gearboxes. kzread.info?search_query=modifying+a+servo+for+continuous+rotation
@risingredstone5949
4 жыл бұрын
@@lander1591 but for that you need to have rc cars, and that too a lot of them. If we assume that one rc car has one servo to steer its front wheels, then you'd need 18 rc cars to make the hexa pod. Just get normal microservo motors instead. Although I dont think they would be as accurate as the ones in the video, but it's fine for a small project.
