Yes we do. Loved this ❤
This is what the people want, it's fascinating bring back the appreciation for craftsmanship and artisty behind fashion and a less celebrity mumbo jumbo
I'm a Design student, and i personally loved what Shie's did , was so smart and creative. i don’t think the tulle was even necessary , it looked so amazing even without it. maybe even better !

I agree, it was better without the tulle I believe. :)
We need MORE! This is so smart!
both lovely recreations. shoutout to the zip-flare jeans of one of stella's staff and shie's yin-yang-ish moto jacket
Both results look great! They basically made patchwork fabric out of the existing items and then sewed new items.😀Would be interesting to see something like adding denim sleeves to the blazer or adding ruffles to the denim skirt.
Stella’s denim jacket is something “we’ve never seen” 😂
We need more of this series!! So brilliant and creative.
I love how this series promotes sustainability in the fashion industry as well as gives chances to younger designers to express their creativity. Great job, Vogue!👏
Shie’s design was lovely!
Shie ate that up FR
shie is underrated omg

Two gracious humans excited about their craft.
i love it
🧵 🪡Some of these baby designers ate the established designers up....And this is one of those times
Always Stella ❤❤❤
I LOVE this series
Malaika Holmén looks amazing here!!
Yup definitely a web series you should start.
Madonna really needs to wear that coat in her new music video with The Weeknd.
Shie Lyu GOT INTO IT!🫂🙏🏽
❤🙌 EU AMEI O TRENCH COAT DE PETWORCK!
I’m into Shie Lyu
Stella Mc Cartney took the most obvious and boring take, while Shie Lyu showed the constraction. I really did not know how much efford goes into a jacket, so Shie's was way better.
Is an interesting series, but both of them basically rip each other's item apart and made it into fabric so it can be shaped to a totally new garment. Is not exactly like changing an existing item by altering it. They might as well send each other their fabrics, TBH it would had saved them both time taking it apart.

The point of the video is transforming each other’s design not project runway.
Hey stella long time im on utube haha how is weather there here it's windy❤❤😂😂
Please do a swap between Demna's Balenciaga and Walter Van Bierendonck.
Muito lindo

They should've chosen a better photo coz that suit looked impeccable.
Style is so subjective like I really don’t see fashion in most of these items they just seem awkward and a little over the top to me
whats the background music
but the jeans @0:47
LOVE this series but did Shie just say there's a horse hair layer to a Stella McCartney jacket????
@snehashrivastav4480
Жыл бұрын
I caught that too! Very curious now

Horse hair is typically a strip of thin bendy polyester "fabric" that adds structure to fabric almost like a softer boning. It is mostly used to create a more dramatic ruffle in the end of a dresses hem. not sure why its called horse hair because it has no horse hair in it at all :)

yes, it's a sign of great quality in tailoring and no it is not the same as horsehair ribbon that Milo was referring to. horsehair canvas is a canvas that has horsehair woven into the fabric in one direction, this creates a certain bounce in that one direction so it glides beautifully over the chest. It also creates a beautiful lapel roll.

Dear Vogue, For humanity’s sake, can we please get Taylor Swift’s makeup/skincare routine some day?
First !
Hmm. More quilting than anything.
It’s crazy vogue would even post this video of blatantly trying and failing to emulate Nigel Xavier ….. he’s the real talented designer

patchwork tailoring has been around for several decades now, it didn’t just come out in the recent years.
What a refreshing concept and so engaging for me too. Please keep this series going! 🙏🏽🩷
Who is gonna let me borrow $1,000,000.00 so I can buy both pieces? 💙🤍🖤
