On April 26th, 2022, during Boston Design Week 2022, Kevin Cradock Builders helped kick off the beginning of this 13-day design festival with a panel discussion titled, “Design Journey: The Renaissance of Jamaica Plain & Boston Neighborhoods,” at Turtle Swamp Brewing, Jamaica Plain’s craft brewery.
KCB hosted, along with Josh Muncey, Realtor and Founder of the Muncey Group. The panel was moderated by Jenna Talbott, editor-in-chief of New England Home, and featured J.B. Clancy, Principal at ART Architects, and Sashya Thind Fernandes, founder and principal designer at Sashya Thind, Warm Minimalism. Jenna introduced the panelists, noting that the program was a “love letter to JP” and that all of the panelists have a personal connection to this special place.
Architect J.B. Clancy took photos of JP homes and presented them, along with detailed descriptions of architectural styles during his slide-driven presentation, laying the groundwork for a veritable walking tour highlighting thirteen different Greek or Gothic styles.
