It’s actually the standard in Mexican bands! The one in Bb is quite rare, I only see it being used by trumpet players doubling on trombone.

@@greasyllama5562 the most common brand is definitely Jupiter, however it’s also very common to buy one in Bb (usually King 2b/3b) and have it resized/shorten (hence retuned to C) by an instrument repair shop. King is the most sought after trombone brand in Mexican music.
