    Please allow me to put my opinion out there because I know I will get alot of negative comments just for expressing an opinion after this, but I think Rose will come back the same, if not better. He's only 25 and has at least 12-13 years left of his NBA career. Take note that when he is in rehab, he is conditioning more which allows his body to come back fresh. In that time period he can also work on the fundamentals and maybe get better. Sure both his knees have torn ligaments, but people compare him to Grant Hill and others. Hill had a broken bone which is way worse. A torn ligament just needs long healing. Rose is more determined than most NBA players and just won't give up. Listen to the torn meniscus press conference. He sounded pretty confident. If he works on his shooting and calms his playstyle a little, he would be more efficient and which I think Coach Thibs will take into consideration into motivating Rose.

    David Zahry i see what your saying with 5-8 years but i think what he meant is that rose will still be able to play at an nba level until he is like 37-38 not that he will be as good as he is now. i agree with what both of you said and plus he still is working towards his prime which for most players is between 27-29 its a misconception that you hit your prime at 25

    Well, after how everything unfolded, I can't say you were completely wrong. He ended up tearing his meniscus in his right knee in his returning year. So we'll never know exactly what would've happened had he stayed healthy following his return from his first knee injury sadly😔

    I do not care who's the best player in the league, who's putting the most points or assists, who's the MVP. But I have been watching basketball for 33 years and I can only say that: Rose was (and I hope he will this next season) the most exiciting player ever to play the game after Jordan, he is pure talent and it is a pleasure for the eyes to see him attacking the rim.

    I prefer not to take a stance in the debate over which point guard is the best because I have read some "epic" verbal exchanges between KZread users and do not want to get involved in the war of words. Whoever I pick, I will anger a number of users so let me just say this. Both of them are special point guards in our time that deserve to have every one of their highlights seen by basketball fans around the world.

    I don't know what makes people say D Rose didn't deserve the MVP... He was in the top ten in asst and points, the bulls had the best record in the league, he dominated every pg that year and every team, and they swept the season series against Miami and other top teams in the league... He deserved the MVP!

  • @iijordan1129

    @iijordan1129

    10 жыл бұрын

    Lmao Lebron deserved it that year but he was still being hated over "The decision" Rose was 25.0-4.1-7.7 and Lebron was 26.7-7.5.7.0 with more blocks, steals, a higher FG% and 3pt%. Lebron wasn't even second in the mvp votiing that year because no one liked him yet.

  • @SIDub14

    @SIDub14

    9 жыл бұрын

    You sound stupid my dude smh... So according to you Lebron should've won MVP because he avg 1 more point and three more rebs than D-Rose lol... What about the fact that the Bulls had the best record in the league that year and they swept the season series against Miami... Miami was the third seed in the east that year. Lebron didn't win MVP because the Heat were a disappointment that year in the regular season, not because no one like Lebron.

  • @suntansuperman26

    Considering it was only his third year in the NBA dude really put some serious life back in the Bulls.

  • @iijordan1129

    @iijordan1129

    SIDub14 First off, the Heat were the second seed. Second, if you think Rose got MVP because the bulls won four more games and they swept the series vs the heat then youre an idiot. This is a team sport and the MVP goes or should go to the best player, the player that can do it all, aka the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER in the league. Give me an argument showing why rose was better than lebron in 2011 and stop telling me the bulls did as a team you fucking idiot.

  • @SIDub14

    @SIDub14

    9 жыл бұрын

    So they were the second seed, I stand corrected... Why the disrespect tho? You mad? And why because you know I'm right lol... First you say this is a team sport then follow up by saying that the MVP should go to the best and most valuable player which kind of soundsd like you're contradicting yourself to me... You're right about it being a team sport tho and D. Rose led his team better than Lebron did in the regular season and did so with much less help... That's why he was the better player! So you think your logic of Lebron avg 1 more point and 3 more rebs per game than Rose did makes more sense huh... LMAO there is only one idiot in this debate and it ain't me lil homie... Please just tell me you're 15 or something so I can stop wasting my time trying to teach a young dummy about the game...
