I’ve had this on repeat since last night. My husband and I are music lovers, have been married 14 years and often dance around the house.... I played him this song and he said “it sounds like us” and we danced alone in the kitchen, our 4 kids upstairs, while we swayed, each in our own minds silently remembering when we met and that feeling of falling and knowing “holy crap this is it” He asks “What Have I Done” with such conviction in his voice. I felt the entire song. It’s very stirring. ❤️ Well done Dermot! Thank you for this.

Okay so when an artist releases an album you don’t really expect to love every song on that album, but then Dermot Kennedy’s album ‘Without Fear’ comes out...and wow...just WOW 🤯 I can honestly say that I LOVE every single song on his album. 🙌

It's not always beautiful. I think when he says "What have I done" he realizes that it's not all rainbows and butterflies. Just my interpretation/experience.... "This feeling is fleeting"... "Good God I know it's dangerous"... "

It's not always a good thing to be in love with someone.

I was so lucky to met my best friend and my lover, 18 years ago in middle school. She passed away a few month ago. We used to listen to your soulful songs together. I lost the best part of me at that moment. It’s so difficult for me now but I try to move forward in life for both of us. I cry and smile at the same time listening again and again to this song. Now, it’s time for me to discover the rest of your album ! Thank you from the very bottom of my heart to share your art with us which means so much for me. See you at your next Paris concert ! Never heard about this dude until 30 minutes ago. I have listened to "what have I done" eight times straight. What a voice! I mean what a solid voice!

It's a shame SONGWRITERS like Dermot are not appreciated anymore. He is probably top 5 best songwriters out right now in my honest opinion. I've only discovered him this year and I'm disappointed that I didn't discover him sooner. Without Fear is my top album of the year followed by Lewis Capaldi's debut. Also it's an awesome album title. This song is my favorite followed by Outnumbered.
