During the whole song, all I can picture is myself in the middle of a huge field with a beautiful open sky and singing this to my Creator and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

A few years ago I was in a coma due to a suicide attempt, when I was released I moved back in with my mom. A few weeks after I was released my mom was driving me to the shop and this song came on the radio, we had to pull over we couldn't stop crying. My mom was the one who took care of me - I literally came home. She is the one who wouldn't let me break. Lying in a hospital bed feeling exactly as you described, naked, fragile, and lost. With nothing but the promise of love and hope I crawled my way back to the living. Thank you for your song, your words. We came to see you live at Alnwick Castle later that year and we all stood at the front crying our eyes out. You were amazing and I thank you, always 🖤

Jess is simply authentic. There are no cuts, the camera stays on her face. Nothing is hidden or glossed over. That's great. Jess' voice is unique, precisely because she uses it like a tool. The range of tones is huge. She lets us share in her feelings and I buy that. I love Jess, she's an icon for me. Her voice and her manner take me away, goose bumps and a hot heart. Never witnessed my kids crying like that before. Stay strong and positive world. Biggest of thanks to all the NHS staff right now from the cleaners, HCA, Nurses, doctors, Priests even the taxi drivers offering free lifts for NHS staff!!! Not only are these people trying to save lives they are sadly the ones by our loved ones sides as they pass away while we can't...

I was going out with some fella and , as you, his heart got right broken before me. He did try to do his best with me but a brocken soul is sooo scary cause they can drop you like ure nothing. I couldnt cope with it so i let him go begging him to break up after involving a guy friend. It does kill me cause he forgave me but i said we better stay only friends. Its taken me nearly a year to come to terms with the fact that my perfect little brother took his own life. How alone and how much must he have been hurting to do this.. Suicide isn't cowardly... i was in a 2 year addiction that i couldnt climb out of, every single person that i NEEDED to show me that not everyone is heartless and terrible, betrayed me, took advantage of me, left me with nothing. i would listen to this song every day and wait for the day i would have the nerve to end it all myself. i now have 2 years clean and listen to this song and am so grateful it helped me through those dark times.

Two weeks ago I found this song. I was....I am at a point where I have to let go of the person that I love the most in the world. My soul is empty! And the more I listen to this song the less I cry. The reason she isn't following with her lips is because she gets to emotional to speak what's she's saying. It represents how hard this is to say.

Agreed, my daughter dedicated this song to me, she sand it to me while I drove to work, she died 6 months later in March 2020, I couldn’t listen to Jesse for more than a while.. when I did, it was this one.. my daughter was crying for help, but the words got stuck, so she played this.. the video was my girl trying to tell me the demons were after her again… :(

​@Veedub10 I am so sorry. Unfortunately sometimes the demons get to be too much as a minister, I wish to be able to get to everyone before that happens, but I know thays too much to ask. There are songs that speak what someone is trying to say. I hope you have peace and comfort in your life and will always be available to speak to you.

Going out and getting another gf wont help him straight away he will need to heal first if it hurts that much. @Nexcalga01 things will get better took me time to get over it and I ended the relationship still hurt though

Me too simon im a sufferer too and music gets me thru it but only 60 percent off the time but the rest off the time i have to use some kind off substance and i hate that but it is what got drilled into me as a child and now its time for me to beat it with my detox. God bless yah brother

anytime I feel low I listen to this beautiful voice and all my worries are gone. It´s like 30min jogging at 6a.m. You feel so fresh & energtic the whole day. With your music I will never be alone.

Dear Jess, Normally I don't comment on videos on KZread but this one's definetely worth it. I watched this video yesterday about 5 times in a row, with tears in my eyes and today I'm watching it again and again and I am still so touched by your beautiful song and of course, you. You show so much strength and fragility at the same time and I admire your courage to share your vulnerability with the world. This song means a lot to me. Thank you Jess, you are beautiful. this song helps me a lot I tried to kill my self this song gives me freedom

i first listened to this song a few years ago when i just lost my bestfriend in my dearest heart. i felt so lost and cried to this song nonstop. Listening to this song again really remind me of the old times of how miserable i was when my depression creeped up on me. I am now a bit better but i still come back to this song sometimes to remind myself that at least i've recovered from 3 years ago and i get to wake up in the morning having sth to complete with hope.
