this video makes me wish we still had ruggs and edwards. I will miss carr and this team to me will never be the same without him, I grew up with him as my QB and not many other teams fans can say the same. With all the change around the league throughout the years, his position was never taken over. Carr will forever be QB #1

I don't know about Edwards, but we miss Ruggs for sure. I'm him opposite Adams, with Renfrow, Waller, and Jacobs....

Yeah… Ruggs story and situation is a sad and tragic one for everyone involved. He was really starting to shine that season. I got to watch that 48 yard touchdown pass in Denver happen live in person a couple weeks before his accident. Very sad to think about what happened. I hope him and the victims family all find peace.

That 2016 season was magical. I really wish we could have seen what he could have done against the Texans in the WC

Saints

Been a Raider fan since 72. Had season tickets in Oakland. Been through all of the ups and downs. Out of all the bad decisions and down times this is by far the worst.

Totally agree. Fan since 1970. Watched Blanda play. For many years I thought Marc Wilson was the worst decision made by Al. Wasted all of tbe mid 80s with Wilson at QB, (although he had a few good games). But getting rid of Carr tops that. I’m no longer watching Raider football. Watching the Saints until Carr wins something or Josh Mcdummy is fired.

​@TheSteveSteele and you call yourself a raider fan Jesus christ lol, the obsession for carr is by far one of the weirdest things I've ever experienced as a raider fan, I rooted for carr when he was a rookie all the way up until 2019, even though he was with us I still cheered for him, booed him, cheered, booed and so on but I kept watching raider games no matter what, but for you to say you've been a fan since blanda and will no longer watch raider games but instead watch carr and the Saints is just laughable, for old timer raider fans you guys really aren't raider fans but worse...carr cult fans smfh this obsession for this guy is insane

Damn he made some receivers become big. Appreciate his service eventhough it wasn’t pretty ending.

@@RFC.Productions I can't shake the feeling that it was all a scam. Like they used Carr to get Adams over having absolutely no real intentions of keeping Carr passed this season. They wanted to reunite Brady and McDaniels from the start(WHICH I HATE ABSOLUTELY HATE THE IDEA OF TOM BRADY BEING OUR QUARTERBACK) The reason I feel this way is because all season long there were sus calls we're doing jet sweeps with devonte we're doing flea flickers all these crazy calls on 4th and inches we're doing HB toss like really Really SUS calls but in the Niners game , it was all run, run and play action. No receivers running into each other cuz they're in the same area the game was called completely different 🤔🤔🤔🤔 And you can't say he dumbed it down for stidham because stidham was his guy that knew his system so why would you dumb it down for somebody that knows your system?? Idk just seems like Carr was meant to be the scape from jump sucks man

A lot to get excited about as a Saints fan here, at his best there is a little bit of the old Drew Brees prior to his arm strength deteriorating. Very impressive off the play action. With the receivers we have and Kamara (if he isn't in jail) plus our D, feeling a lot better about the upcoming season

It’s crazy they didn’t even have any highlights from the Raiders/Chargers season ending game that sent the winner to the playoffs. I am a huge fan of DC4. Though I don’t think he played great his final season with the Raiders and idk if that’s all entirely his fault. I really hope to see him do well and thrive with the Saints and hopefully win some playoff games and maybe a ring. He deserves it. He was dealt a rough hand with the Raiders dumpster fire of an organization and all the coaching changes. He remained loyal even though he took so much negative criticism that he didn’t deserve most of the time. Best of luck, DC4!

Wow, I am confused by some takes saying that he isn't good or even average. How can you make those comments, his career has been nothing less than phenomenal. I feel for raiders fans, they decided to side with a coach that they will eventually fire over a QB who's kept the raiders competitive despite the horrendous coaching and bad defense. I really hope the jets get him this should be option number one in my book. And I really hope he shows how stupid the raiders gm was for letting him go. No disrespect to raiders fans. I feel you, jet fans know poor team management.

One of the best deep ball throwers I’ve ever watch . It annoyed me how talented of a QB he was but only showed 50% of that talent. Could be on his way to a HOF career if he played with more sense of urgency

0:36 I remember watching that Pittsburg game. Both offenses were on fire. Carr and Crabtree were amazing. The difference maker in that game though was Antonio Brown. He was in his prime and was unstoppable. He scored late TD to put it away.

Our lone bright spot in 9 long years of abysmal football and team building. We are approaching our darkest days as Raider fans....

D.C. is good enough to try out for one more season in my opinion. I feel like he would've gotten better in this McDonald's system. But Mark/McDonald's didn't have the patience to give him a chance. The changes occurred in the coaching staff throughout his Raider career, not the quarterback. Hence the video Raider Nation is watching right now. But now, we'll never know. My Raiders will have less than 6 wins for 2023. I feel. I hope McDonald's proves me wrong.

As a Raider fan I think letting Carr go was a mistake. This guy's never played with a defense ranked in the top 15. With the weapons the Saints have and the weakness of the division they play in its almost a lock for the Saints to win the division and host a playoff game. Once the playoffs start whose gonna stop em?

I don't understand how he was good with the Raiders but isn't doing well with the Saints.. I still think it's mostly on coaching, then the pressure the fans are putting on him. His redzone play is terrible, but he's still a good QB. Something needs to be fixed with the Saints.

I have always loved him as a person but unfortunately when you have a losing record after 9 years teams don't stick with you. As they say quarterbacks get all the blame when you lose and too much praise when you win. I think those horrendous interceptions @ Rams game at the half and the Steelers pick @ the end cost him his job unfortunately. It was talked about after the 1st chief's game but I think those 2 horrendous picks were the straw that broke the camels back. Good luck every Sunday #4 unless we play you!!

How about unfortunately when you have six different coaches over nine years? How about unfortunately, when you have three different teardowns over nine years? No top 10 defense (which Rich Gannon had here) Also, the last coach to get you to the playoffs gets fired … for Josh McDaniels, who does less with a more talented roster… I guess those things don’t count, right?🤦🏽‍♂️
