To me Denis is the greatest because he is such a humble and nice guy. Always smiling and bringing good sportsmanship to competitions. I really hope he recovers well.

Fouren For starters Denis is also right handed.. He writes and lifts heavier with his right ..so he steamrolled devon fair and square. Also Devon only won the 196-225lbs weight class. Never held any international title like Worlds /Zloty etc , nor the super heavyweight hammer. Check your facts

@Earl The Pearl you should watch the complete analysis of todd's placement of elbow and arm on myriad list of videos here on youtube and on my channel for better perspective - it wasn't arm-wrestling, it was rather torsion and exploitation of king's move to king's "PAD" busting move. Bolted frame of the pad was physically used by setting his entire arm and elbow against it - it is no longer armwrestling, neither devon nor denis could tear off the three inches of bolted frame of the pad to pin his arm. If this had happened in the PAL, todd would have been fouled out of the match. even the slightest unintentional jerk is being observed and reviewed there, fouling to this extent is a remote thought. I have put up very brief, comprehensive and comparative analysis on this aspect.

@@haroutnajarian777 we did see it happening with jerry's full on press being caught by devon and worked all the way to the pin. Perhaps, in this case, it's few more powerful surge of starting round before it starts tapering out in intensity as the match progress. The real test of strength is the later rounds after burning out the explosivity reserve

Devon doesn't really have that much better endurance, what he does is hold at a position that saves his arm, the question is if he is will be able to do that against denis, if you see devon matches he always tries to keep his biceps "close" , but to do that he needs to drag other people arms closer to him and i dont think he will be able to do that with dennis cause dennis is stronger than devon.

@@g23g Lol I can assure you that it's not the first time he's being confronted with anomally overpowering athlete. there're numerous other strategies to equalize and counter the surges. for endurance factor - denis match with todd is a self evident account of his abating endurance after first two round, denis couldn't able to do much despite having michael todd under the uncompromising and astringent referee system of PAL. Thanks to PAL that todd had been fouled out in the last round for almost imperceptible foul by the referee, otherwise he could have easily won over denis. whereas, what todd was able to do in his match with devon is a historical account of ripping apart the rules and spirit of arm-wrestling to irreparable extent. The way todd was able to set his entire back of the arm and elbow against the bolted frame of the pad to counter devon is literally impugning the integrity and authenticity of his win across the globe. if the match was conducted in PAL referee system with devon, todd would have been fouled out of the match before it would even begin. Заинтриговали по полной! Только вот впечатление, что выпуск монтировали в большой спешке: дважды слова Ларата привели на 15:34 и на 17:48. В самом начале "incredible hulk walking" почему-то перевели, как "Халк Вагнер". Или это я чего-то недослышал/не знаю? Ну и в цифирках и мерах напутали: на 21:05 вместо 87,4 кг в субтитрах стоит 58.5 cm . Но не смотря на это, видео получилось интересным))

This match-up reminds me a lot of the recent Chael Sonnen vs Fedor Emelianenko match in MMA. Comparable to the differences between the personality types and showmanship/ promotional styles of each guy, the natural weight class differences and how far past their prime each competitor is (although Denis is still fairly young compared to Fedor and could still be said to be close to his prime in arm wrestling years). I have a feeling this match might turn out the same way as Chael vs Fedor went, too. Devon still has a lot more left in the tank in his sport and has always been far better at arm wrestling than Chael ever was in his MMA, but the differences in size, strength and power might just be way too much to overcome here.
