High Street without all the ugly traffic calming. Bring it back, please. Mellards ironmongers. Crown Carpets. Kruger's music shop. I recall they had pianos in the adjacent premises. Peter Thomas mens' outfitters. Freeman Hardy & Willis shoes. Stead & Simpson shoes. Dewhurst butchers. Mathers newsagent/sweets. Halls chemist. Chapel St garage.
