Man, I'm still *amazed* by how much of a *_horror story experience_* the upper part of Tower of Latria is: The pitch black darkness only emphasizes the terror of the gargoyles by a milestone. The constant bloodshed and corpses are a grim reminder of the dark experiments that occur here. The giant beating heart conjured by some opressive occult ritual. The bottom of the tower and all its disgusting, grotesque and nightmarish flood of blood and guts. The devilish and disgusting centipedes with human-like faces all around their bodies, crawling like maggots. The living flesh guts and tentacles just coming out of the tower, as if it was a gigantic organism hidden behind the stone walls. And then there's the Maneaters, whose arena and boss music are still the most terrifying in all the Souls series for me. Seriously, in my opinion, they have yet to make a "Gargoyle boss fight" as well done as this one. Despite its flaws, they gave this boss fight so many things that we never see return in any other Souls title EVER. - If the Maneaters fall off the ledges, they instantly start flying. - Instead of just flying and jumping in a straight line, the Maneaters actually fly around the dark scenario, confusing you. - Instead of just swinging weapons or claws, the Maneaters mostly perform a lunging attack that is super fast, almost emphasizing their lion-esque beast-like nature. (something completely lacking from other Gargoyle boss fights in the Souls series, whom mostly just feel like flying warriors swinging their weapons) - Instead of long and prolonged ranged attacks that leaves them open, the Maneaters ranged attacks are fast and recover very quickly, only adding to the tension that there's no openings while at the same time the monstersare super agressive. And these are some of my reasons why I love the Maneater boss fight so much. Yes, it has its bugs like them sometimes walking randomly towards the ledges instead of the player, but despite that, they still have so many cool features that I just thought would be implemented in future winged bosses in the Souls series (like the Bell Gargoyles) but instead never returned. If that care and dedication with the Maneaters had been kept for many of the similar boss fights in future games, maybe I would share more in your annoyance and hate for the Maneater. But as it is, they're still my favourite Gargoyle boss fight ever! Absolutely love them! ^_^ Oh, and let's be honest, the true final boss of Tower of Latria were those two Mind Flayers by the stairs.

Good Playthrough , Welldone... Keep up the Fun 👌🏼 LMAO this scene got me dead 11:10 well all experience the same problems in some Instances... ( Pretty shitty feeling , but in the End the relief of certain situation must be on point ) 🤣 But Maneater Boss is pretty nasty in this Mod that you're using 😓 I already experienced the Normal fight & it was kinda tricky at first.... but this , this is 100% more Harder than it was without the mod

Thanks a lot. This was a really fun playthrough for me. Maneater can be really annoying at times, especially if you can't kill the first one fast enough. Having a really weak weapon like I did made it even harder than usual.

@@Vahellis Yeah indeed... you had to get rid of the First before the 2nd one jumps in , the Mod also makes it more intense... However , you did Awsome figuring out how to split them up & Heal when u had the Chance ( Even though your Weapon was underleveled alil bit ) Great Job dude... I certainly noticed does the Mod Boost up HP% like double or maybe even 50% more than the Normal Boss or Enemies Base Health ? Well Played 👍🏼
