If I remember right, the entire thing with the Toilet Sea Shells was an injoke among the filming crew when they were staying at a hotel. Every room had three such decorative sea shells that did nothing in the toilet and someone asked why exactly are they even there. Then someone else remembered seeing those in some other hotel. It all snowballed into adding them into the movie for shits and giggles. Sadly I can't give the exact sourse, I only remember that I read the interview in some airline company's magazine during a long flight and that info somehow stuck with me.

The Taco bell/pizza hut thing is a big mess. At least in Scandinavia. The vhs came out with taco bell, so that's the one I remember. The DVD later came out with pizza hut. Seemed weird, like living the Mandela effect. Then pizza hut shut down in Scandinavia, making the reference mute. Then when it came out on Netflix, they changed it back to taco bell, but the subtitles still say pizza hut! We will have updates as the story progresses...

Man i honestly love Demolition Man, i grew up in the 90's loving this movie, my grandparents had it on video and every single time i went to their house i'd pop it in and watch it like it was my first time seeing it. Yea it was cheesy and sort of "dumb" but damn did it always entertain the hell out of me. Still one of my favorite movies till this day. Wesley Snipes' character, Simon Phoenix, made this movie man, lol.

It's kind of scary how accurate this film has become. In 1993 we laughed at this movie because we never thought it would ever come to pass. Now in 2019... it's creeping ever closer to becoming a reality. Better learn how to use those three seashells today, boyos.
