The thing about campaign is that you can make just about any build or unit work with campaign, even terrible units, let alone something as strong as these.
Yes, please put them into campaign context, pretty please. Great vids by the way, very informative.
Okay so I think additional 15 sec for campaign would be nice, including which Lord gives best bonuses/upkeep for that unit and maybe, I dunno, buildings? Other than that I thinks it's simple, but effective mini series!

No lords give specific bonuses to Demi’s as well as there being no buildings that give anything specific to Demi’s as well. I believe most lords red line give a bonus to ward save and the tech tree has one or two upgrades. They do however benefit from a lot of knight and cav buildings

Yeah, a short summary of how easy it is to get them, when you should go for them, and where they're the most useful. Like in this case, demigryphs are great against the slow, heavily armoured chaos for a late-game Empire campaign, but would be pretty bad against the swarmy low-armour VC.
No wonder you wanted to give these guys more than 100 seconds!
The large majority of people play exclusively or mostly singleplayer, so a section for campaign info would be preferred imo.
2:09 yes pls that would be awesome, the one thing I struggle mostly in multiplayer is the army set up and a campaign guide would be awesome too
I like that you showed the different matchups and the battle-outcomes. I didn't know a giant would mess them up this hard
That was great, simple, straight forward and very informative! If I could ask one thing it's I usually appreciate advice on how many of any particular unit you would take in an army on campaign. But still top notch.
I think the Campaign info/pvp info would help round-out your 'breakdown' on the unit.
Loving these short and sweet videos!
Really like these quick short format vids. They're on point and easily digestible so I actually watch them right away rather than letting them get buried in my watch (maybe never) list.
Never saw the first 2 vids, so I didn't see anything missing. The vid was short, sharp, informative and well worth the watch
I really like the quick summary of the unit and what the unit does on campaign ^_^ Really helpful !
Yes I did enjoy the campaign section of the prior videos and felt they were very useful. Thank you!
Definitely like having the campaign section in these vids!
you're literally the best at explaining this games mechanics and I truly appreciat it.
I really love this video format
This is a great introduction, short and to the point.
KEEP IT MULTIPLAYER! Only difference with campaign is more buffs to existing strengths and weaknesses. Love your work Zerk!
love this videos. they are extremely useful
Great concept. I agree that some campaign information might be useful. Looking forward for next 'in 2 minutes!' unit! :)
I'd say yes to both the campaign tips as well as the multiplayer tips with example army builds. All very informative stuff, and even if I don't play multi at all I still think that many that do would find it to be of great help! Great content either way, though :)
Multiplayer demigryphs in 2 min + Campaign demigryphs in 2 minutes (or even 5) would also make some good videos. Honestly though, 10 min is the perfect bite sized chunk to get in everything you need to say on one get specific topic. But this is a good video.
Campain is always good to know :). This series is a great idea, thanks.
This series is great! Keep the micro-videos coming! But yeah, I miss the campaign snippet.
It's a very nice video idea, I believe these will serve a better purpose on multi than on single player, but helping understanding each unit is always great!
0:04 ah yes, the majestic demigryph, see here waddling towards the enemy like an oversized chicken.
The unit role in battle usually makes it clear whether you need a lot of them or not. A campaign section is not necessary if there's nothing special there.
Campaign part would be really useful. Cause your vides are always useful for campaign, even if most are not made for campaign
Dedicated campaign and multiplayer info is up to you. Ive often found that just the basic info you give on how best to use them and their role is enough for me. I can figure out the rest.
Nice video. I would enjoy a short campaign section (just 20secs or so). As for the builds, I think that's a good idea for a separate longer video for each faction? But maybe wait for the third installment with those.
I'd love more info and advice on utilizing the units and how/when to acquire them in the campaign for sure! I know a lot of people, including myself, have trouble planning their campaigns and army setups more than in the battles.
Campaign content is always welcome. It's what most people play. Love watching multiplayer and dabble in it sometimes, but with so many different matchups it's incredibly overwhelming. Additionally, a lot of units that you wouldn't pick in multiplayer shine in campaign. So yes, more! :)
Actually this was perfect. It's nice to get an overview of what a unit is for and what versions to use when. Sometimes when you're just getting started you don't know what to send units against aside from if the tooltip says 'anti large' or 'armor piercing' and without really digging in, there's not much way for a newbie to learn the nuance you're able to give in 2 min. If there's any campaign or multiplayer references, maybe just a quick blurb on what LLs have especially good upgrades for a given unit, which LL can do without recruiting much of a unit because their buffs improve a different unit for the same roles, and which factions you definitely shouldn't (or should definitely should) bring the unit against in MP.
Yes, I'd enjoy the campaign breakdown as well
Campaign and multiplayer builds with these units would be useful Zerkovich.
I always appreciate sample builds.
My favorite unit without a doubt
i love this unit so much so much so much so much
I'd love a multiplayer focus with an example of build !
I watch these FOR campaign, but the general overview is more important because it's usable for everything.
Yes campaign section pls, as someone who mostly plays campaign its good to know if a unit is worth the time and cost to get and how to fit it in an army comp
2 Demigryphs and a warrior priest on horseback with his buffs is a near unstoppable force in multiplayer, you can also add karl franz into the mix for even more buffs, the alpha strike potential is incredible.
Loving these "X in 2 minutes" videos. And yes, a bit of info about their usage in campaign would be good. I'm sure "X in 3 minutes" would be fine. ;-)
I think including unit cost and maybe which building chain it comes from would be good.
Yes we need campaign tips
Can't wait for mammoth video.
First off I think this is a great idea for a series of videos. Nice one! In answer to you're question, personally I don't see the need to mention their campaign use or multiplayer unless there's something particular for either scenario that would be worth mentioning. That's just my take though.
Can't wait to see all units in Ze Futah.
I would love some campaign information on these videos
This video was incredibly helpful. I usually play coop with a buddy and we were trying to figure out why one would take Demigryphs. Not that we thought they were bad but because of how campaign works it seemed that Reiksguard were basically good enough and you didn't really need Demigryphs. Other than a substantial speed increase we didn't find Demigryphs too incredibly important compared to just Reiksguard and Outriders.
Some units function better in evenly matched armies or vs AI, but I think the "does well vs this but not that, apply here for maximum effect but avoid there" works pretty well for both campaign and matched. Maybe just note when something is trash in one format but amazing in the other e.g. skaven weapon team spam
Campaign please, thank you for yours videos that really help in such a deep and immersive game :)
IDK about campaign info but it would be nice to have these in a playlist
A campaign overview would require its own video
Both campaign and multiplayer sections would be very helpful.
Loving them short and sweet, not focusing too much on numbers might keep them update proof?
I'd like to see builds. Or different campaign doomstacks for the different races. Like what constitutes a doomstack
I would love some guide on how to build an army with griffs
Campaign section would be nice
Yes on campaign tips
YES YES YES for campaign!
Its perfect as it is
I run one unit of demi gryph to hang out with my wizards. Often times slapping a buff on them will allow them to drive off whatever is punching my celestial wizard or jade wizard
I'm torn, because I would always vote for more info, but on the flip side these snappy videos are really cool being so concise. Is there any harm having additional snappy videos for each unit for campaign and multiplayer? Sort of like branching mini-vids
Campaign advice would be welcome
You can make either a specific video for the campaign portion, or add it to the end - I'd appreciate both.
Something to note is that on the charge demigryphs without halberds will outperform halberds even against large. So vs Squishy cav it will be better to use lances than halberds.
Not sure if you will read this since this isn't a "new" vid (still pretty new though) but here goes... I finally broke down and bought warhammer II during the anniversary sale recently. Then subsequently purchased all but four (paunch, warden/beast, wood elves, beastmen) dlc's and warhammer I. Have already logged 232 hrs. collectively between war I and war II and all of it has been single player. So for me any info helping me to suck less in single player would be greatly appreciated. That and I love your manner of speaking. You ARE the British Howard Cosell. Sorry if that name is older than your generation, or if you aren't British... But I can't recommend enough that anybody that doesn't know who Howard Cosell is give him a little listen. Whenever Zerkovich is discussing the strengths/weaknesses of units/armies I get a mental image of Cosell from when I watched the NFL in my youth. Well, that and the Japanese brothers in Better off Dead (movie)...
Just a small tidbit for campaign maybe pointing out when in the campaign you'd be recruiting and able to use them
They are so goddamn addorable
I only play campaign, so if there is anything specific about the unit within campaign...I would appreciate you sharing that.
Since these are broad overviews of specific units, I don’t know if either the campaign or multiplayer guide is strictly necessary, but given the choice a campaign overview is going to apply to more viewers because of the way the playerbase is divided.
what distinguishes monstrous cavalry from regular cavalry? when should i pick the former, when the latter?
Yeah, for campaign usage it's better to note them when they are particularly effective or useful - IE, noting when a unit is a particularly good one for armies that are going to be garrisoning (Asur basic Spearmen and Archers stand out here as thanks to Martial Prowess they can actually do really well when supporting a garrison) during the Vortex campaign or units that are particularly useful in sieges (offensively or defensively). We don't need to know "Sisters of Avelorn are awesome in Campaign, especially with Alarielle", but we might want to know if a certain unit is particularly useful in a siege battle rather than a field one, or if certain units should be avoided in campaign for armies that are going to be doing certain situations, or if they fill a particularly important niche that players might overlook just looking at their basic stats.
Demigryphs in 2 seconds! - THEY FUCKIN GOOD!!!
I think it wouldn't hurt to increase the time a bit more to include both campaign and multiplayer uses. That would make this a great all around resource to look at
I rarely play multiplayer, so I would really apreciate some commentary and notes on campaign for your next videos
I would watch 5 minutes of this.
I would like to know campaign stuff like how useful are the unit is in campaign and how many should I put them in my army. The limiting factor isn't money but the 20 size limit.
Good vid, everyone loves Demis! I don't think campaign OR multiplayer focus needs to be drawn in these vids, just go over the stats and maybe mention similar units from other factions (Blood and Grail Knights, Cold One Riders, etc) and a few more clips of big Hammer and Anvil charges to get everyone nice and excited.
I think you should add a campaign section
I only play campaign, but I feel like campaign offers the opportunity to experiment with all the units from a faction and play around quite a bit. I wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts on campaign at all, but I also think that there are more variables, so it seems like there's less broadly applicable insight to share there. Multiplayer is more narrowly focused, so it fits this format really well. Ah, here's an idea: these multiplayer focused videos seem to be perfect in terms of their accessibility, usefulness and (I assume) ease of production for you. I kind of think that should be preserved. For campaign, since there are more variables and it's a little fuzzier, I would rather a different format - a longer video that might encompass multiple or all units for a faction working together. Or perhaps it could be a video highlighting a sample stack that synergizes well with a campaign's Lord - that way, it would give an overview, a sample, and some details, without having to be comprehensive. Overall, I think you've hit on something good with these short focused videos, and if that makes production easier, I'd stick with it. Trying to add campaign info to this format might break the groove.
I believe since most ppl play Campaign & quite a lot of KZreadrs covering TWWH are Multiplayer focused, this could be a decent niche to occupy
YES with the campaing!!
Campaign section!
I would like to see a multiplayer section. I feel that it helps me with army composition for both multiplayer and campaign since i can see how to build around that unit
I would appreciate the campaign section :) as I only play single-player.
Honestly, one of the few must have calvary for me. Strong enough to hold many calvary and also monsters and also great hammer and anvil units.
Don't really more info on these units, HOWEVER(!), when WH 3 comes out and you do the unit info's etc could you also show the stats with the different generals on mounts? (also any dlc's) I know it might be a lot more work for something which only pops on screen for a few seconds, but it would be super useful. Some of the mounts really change the Lord and sometimes I have 0 idea on how to use the lord on a specific mount.
Was wondering if you touch on a main reason demi's are amazing, small model count with high hp so throw a heal on them and watch them go to town.
I would love more campaign info. I've never played MP
campaign context would be cool
I hope you creat video of crusaders king 3 guide or tips
Campaign section would be great with these mate. Seeing them in a vacuum is ok but using them in an actual campaign would be more useful.
Campaign info please! :D
Yes to campaign question.
Demigryphs with halberds are probably my favourite unit in the game.
Demigryphs with halberds do wonders when combined with hellstorms, hellstorms celean up infantry and missle troops while demigryphs stop enemy cav from taking out hellstorms.
Yeah please keep campaign sections in. I would never play multiplayer so it's good to see both ends of the spectrum for the usage of these and other units
