This is not new, it’s called a Bear Choke which was discovered in Catch Wrestling when they began to allow strangles in CACC later on

Same pressure as a RNC, both carotid arteries being cut off by the bicep and forearm/wrist. Just a variation of the same concept.

I still prefer John Danaher’s “rotational” method. One arm, chin down? No problem. It’s the best method I’ve seen.

I don.t know about other people's physique but sometimes I choke people with just 1 hand, it goes around person.s neck and then goes behind my own neck from that hand.s side. Until now nobody could escape after my hand touched my neck, it kind of involves back muscles making grip much stronger and tighter

Jiu jitsu came first, then judo took jiu jitsu techniques, and aikido was made with jiu jitsu techniques in mind. Bjj is a modified version of jiu jitsu with less unnecessary movements
