@@morganchav you can be hit by a line drive or have a grounder pop up in your face when in the infield. Extremely necessary at any infield position. Don't talk about shit you don't know or understand.

Amber Coffey definitely know all about it. I’ve played softball all my life, playing college softball currently. From all of the years and games I’ve played, it’s pretty obvious balls just don’t get hit as hard to the right side of the field as they do the left. I can understand 3rd base, it’s quick with little reaction time. Shortstop, somewhat because as balls are hit hard that’s supposed to be your best fielder, and well you simply just can’t be scared of the ball there or it WILL eat you up. but second or first base? It’s just unlikely you’ll get hit. You’re being taught to be scared more than anything. But that’s whats wrong with the new generation of players becoming soft.

How Is This Comedy?!? This is a softball player getting hit by the ball. I know it isn't as hard as a baseball, but it's bigger than one, and it's not soft!
