Guys, Steven Styles has dedicated his time to Demi going all the way back for 10 years or so - he has always been a constant & there for her through ALL the ups & downs. I guarantee she would not, nor ever will, feel anything less than the upmost respect for him. The studio version of this song sounds perfect cause they can start/stop to get it perfect when in all actuality, it is extremely hard to sing live and stay on beat. HE IS on beat...with that being said, I do think that by playing for her this many years, he could/should have adjusted his timing to match hers. Either way, they both have theee most beautiful gift in the world and I’m sure she wouldn’t want anyone else backing her up. ❤️

@@toniasmith4730 ok but i said this as a joke lmao, and he WAS indeed going too fast, demi was on time because thats how fast it goes in the studio version but for some reason the pianist was going faster then he should have, maybe he couldnt hear her tho but I doubt that was the case, he mightve just gotten lost

I don’t understand how Demi is STILL underrated. They’re so damn talented. If she and Lady Gaga did a duet I would just start crying. How they sing it reminds me of Nina Simone’s Feelin Good.

This is why it’s so important to give people their flowers while they’re still here. We almost lost this woman and it bothers me DAILY.

Hannah’s face at 9:08 is all of us. Demi is an insane vocalist, their register is melted butter on crab legs and their control is extraterrestrial to say the very, very least. Not to mention the song itself is a terrifying narrative for addiction. We have to stan, we just have to.

That highest note near the end sounds like she’s howling with emotion and you can just feel it ripping out of her. Amazing.

Her voice is the BEST it's ever been. She talks about how in her whole career, she has never given her voice as much time off as she has over the last three years, and it's truly benefitted her SO MUCH. She sounds INCREDIBLE!!! Also: You should react to any of her live performances of "The Art of Starting Over" bc it is.... SO GOOD!!!!

seriously shes such a TREMENDOUS vocalist and while shes clearly had ALOT of success her vocals are UNDERrated. she really catches alot of flack and its 100 percent because of ppls biases against other aspects of her life. She is one of the BEST there is now and ever. period. The improvement throughout her career is insanity, and her consistent ability to make a song hers and to make you feel is out of this world. been to many concerts and especially for a pop artist the way she evokes emotion live is mind blowing and thats somethign not alot of the great vocalists have.
