NOTE: no access for basic economy rule comes in in 2024
Was an avid and loyal delta customer but no more. Can’t bring myself to book another flight w them after what they did w their loyalty program. But yes, been to that lounge many times and it’s nice.

I agree. I already downgraded my Delta platinum card because I don't spend as much now needed to earn status. Plus, I only fly two to three times a year so used the platinum card to access the lounges. That's gone now, too, so no point keeping and paying AF.

Using cash only is a bad idea. Stop giving bad financial advice@@berryzedzero
@BenHedges: Remember, you still have access to the Delta Lounge with the AMEX Platinum even if you have a basic ticket. (You simply don’t earn Sky Miles based on the basic ticket.) Pro Tip: Due to the upcoming change, you will still earn MQDs on the basic tickets due to there being money spent :-)
Thank you for the review! I was wondering how the LAX Sky Lounge looked like! I rarely fly out of LAX nowadays, but used to, and I didn't have a credit card to access it back then.
Love to see it.
This is my home airport and always liked the new delta lounge they did a good job on it. Also have you had any trouble with Schwab platinum not showing up on max rewards?
Been there a handful number of times due to home airport and it’s always been wonderful, obviously sometimes busier than others, but never felt overcrowded or wait like Amex in Seattle (before renovations).
Thank you for sharing and the Sky Club is beautiful. I still like the Sky Club LGA a bit more. BTW, AA finally catches up. Their new DCA Admirals Club is as beautiful as DL Sky Clubs. Although the food is still..... DL still has the best food offer in the US besides AA Flagship and UA Polaris. I just release the video for the AA lounge, if you want to check it and compares to the DL's Sky Club. Once again, thank you for this video!!
I was in the Capital One Lounge in IAD and the Sapphire Lounge in Boston this week and both were great. Delta Lounges are also fine. Will be in the Qatar First Class Lounge in Doha in a month. I am assuming this lounge will be like walking on flowers. Delta is clearly better than United, unless it’s Polaris and honestly I don’t fly American due to logistics.
Yup love that lounge
Been there a month ago, very nice.
I was at that lounge a few months ago. It’s nice, but the one at MSP is much bigger because it’s one of Delta’s hubs.
Was at this club earlier this month. While nice, I prefer the old one. It is quieter and they let you in prior to 3 hours. Unfortunately, I won't be able to access them anymore starting the next. My Delta Platinum card has become a sock drawer card..I still value the companion pass.
If I travel first class on a domestic Delta flight from LAX to Orlando(MCO) do I have access to this lounge? Also, if I have an AMEX business card, does it qualify me to use this lounge, or do I need an AMEX platinum card?
How do you like it compared to the centurion lounge?
last time i filmed in the delta lounge, they yelled at me lol
Can both Platinum cards be in your name? I currently have 2 Amex platinums (Schwab and Business). Can I give one to my wife to use? Or does one have to be in her name? (For centurion lounges and sky club)

I didn’t try that, it was one each in each of our names. I am guessing probably not. But you can set your airline credit as delta and then bring someone in as a guest and get the $50 fee refunded
My experience is delta sky clubs are way nicer than centurion lounge (except miami, that skyclub is sad)
What if you purchase a first class ticket?

Then your sky lounge is at the front of the plane.
Do you travel with shower shoes in your carry on or do you risk it and go barefoot?

Why do i need shower shoes? Like what am I risking?

Many of us are still scarred from college dorms where you had to wear flip-flops to shower in order to avoid getting athletes foot (type of foot fungus) or avoid stepping in whatever puke/dirt/hair/etc was on the floor because the showers never really drained properly or were cleaned often.@@TheCreditShifu

I was wondering the same thing…good to see the cleaning lady nearby, tho it’s still a public facility… yech. Who needs a shower that badly. Ok, maybe for a really long layover or some urgent personal hygiene reasons. The lounge and the decor are beautiful. Great review!
If i have the business platinum card and flying economy with delta will i still get in for free? I never tried going to a delta lounge.
