Olivia Newton John was her mentor and inspiration during the time Delta was going through all her health issues. Delta is another Australian treasure. She actually played ONJ in a musical film of Grease and sang a compilation of ONJ song at her memorial service.

Delta now has her own record label Atled (her name backwards). She does act, and was in an Aussie soap called Neighbours. Just this year she played in a movie released on Netflix called Love Is In the Air. PS Merry Christmas for you today. ❤🌲✨️

I keep missing the live streams but love your video's. Some amazing intro there!! Delta has a library of great originals, paralyzed is just one of many great ones to choose from. You can't go wrong with Delta.

Delta's live performanc on the voice of her song wings is one of my favorites. Also her song heavy (video clip) and then her video with gizzle called enough. She is a powerhouse 😊

Thanks Doc. I have all my sounds programmed in the stereo field and I choose sounds partially based on where they sit in stereo spectrum so that all can be heard without competing with eachother.

She actually did a duet of this with the original singer, Colin Hay. It had such a great reaction that she posted this solo cover afterwards.

I hadn't thought about Haye's delivery in the original, but you're right; he is telling a story, almost like proudly boasting about how great Australia is - in an English Pub! Now I'm curious where it was written! 😆 Delta's version is more melodic and nuanced. Yes, we were all shocked to discover that Delta had lost her voice and what a huge battle she faced to regain it. Unlike a number of other well known singers, who had surgical damage to their vocal chords, Delta's surgeon (or at least the procedure - complications thereof?) severed / paralysed a nerve that controls her tongue, so she couldn't form words / sounds properly. From there, to get back to this level of performance excellence is truly astounding. She is most definitely a fighter! 🤩😍

Delta portrayed Olivia Newton John in a TV series, and absolutely nailed it. If U Can find it there is an interview she did on an American news program where she sings, Hopelessly devoted to you, live, and it's just stunningly perfect. Oh and as for high notes, she can hit E6

Thanks for the reaction. I don't think you can go wrong with anything in Delta's vast catalog, but one that for me showcases several elements of her talent is "Heavy". I'd give that a go!

Delta started off on Neighbours (Australian soap opera). I think for her it was more of a platform to get into the music industry rather than an acting career.
