Hi Cougar (hope I'm saying that right). Hey man. Great video. Extremely helpful. I have a Dell 5590 that I purchased used. The trackpad was behaving very strangely. I wound up disabling it temporarily so that I could install Windows 11. After that, I realized that perhaps the previous owner had replaced the trackpad and didn't set it up properly. Anyway, now I have the confidence to install a new trackpad if need be. Thanks again. You did a great job on this one.

Unfortunately I do bot have the Dell part number. You can contact Dell to see if you can order the part or if it can be repaired via any warranty or service plan you might have. A web search using the model or service tag may give you alternatives to a Dell direct part.
