INSTALLATION & REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS:
- STEP-1: Avoid static discharge by grounding yourself using a wrist grounding strap or by touching a bare metal surface like a connector on the back of the laptop and remove all of the power including the battery and power adapter.
- STEP-2: Slide the battery latches towards the outside of the laptop until they click.

    I agree completely with P. lare...LOL...LOL. Disassembly is always easier than putting it back together. Thank you so much for the video tutorial I think it's a bit cumbersome for a "fan" replacement. Geez it's the most difficult part of the entire build to get to and replace.

    hey,i have 15r 5521 and i can't hear the voice of my fan and it getting to much heat upto 90 c so can it damage my motherboard or any system parts

    Little details like "lift the black plastic tab to remove the cable/ribbon" would have been nice. It is difficult to see what your hands are doing to perform the action you are verbalizing. Why not mention those little details? Also, removing the WLAN card screw before trying to take off the antenna posts might have prevented me from breaking mine off. Thanks a lot.
