What the fuck man... put this in video... There is no problem in making mistake, everyone makes it but if you do then let others know. You should put that in video. I wasted my 30 minutes in R&D on TGP of RTX 3050 in dell. (even though I thought it might be 95W).... Be more careful from next time

I was told for dell g15 5520 3060 has 130W TGP by dell customer care. One more thing I bought asus laptop 3.5 years ago asus tuf fx504gm. I didn't played games much on that and its motherboard is gone now. Dell costs extra but service, support and build quality is far better then Asus and Acer. Also in a video I come to know they have provided space for second ssd slot, but they have not given brackets for it, we can simply contact and they will provide without any cost. My company also provided a dell latitude laptop and its build quality is brilliant, though its not gaming. I expect my laptop should be running life long whether it supports new games or not in future.

Asus and Acer have improved their build qualities considerably, so please don't believe what other's say. You can visit the showrooms/dealerships and try these products to get hands on experience, then make the choice. It's true that dell offers brilliant build quality and after sales service but we do have to pay a premium for that or either settle for less or dated specs. This is what I tried to point out in the video. Dell latitude laptops are build to last so comparing them to laptops like G15 or Inspirons is not fair. In the end it all comes to the price and value for the customers. And this laptop offer's less of it. Dell customer care told me the TGP for RTX 3060 was 160W, and they told you that it's 130W, you see my point here? Do you call this great customer service? I've made this video because no one talks about these things. I just want to help people see the truth, not tell them how or where to spend their money.

@@minimumspec Its true that customer care people at dell are all noobs because different people say different things. I have another laptop Asus A15 2020. Even its left hinge makes cracking sound. I invested about 90K money on asus tuf fx504gm in mid 2018 and in 3.5 years its dead. I expected to run the device about 5 to 6 years even if I don't play games in the future. I have asked g15 specs from exclusive store he shared me an image of table where tgp was mentioned. I am not arguing, its just my POV.

True , dell's build quality is awesome. I have a dell Inspiron laptop been using it for 8 years now , i game extensively on it and still the motherboard isn't giving out any problem . Thinking of going for the g15 3060 now

Build quality also depends on the series you buy, not just the brand. Asus Strix and Legion pro have the best build qualities, whereas Dell G15 and Asus TUF have the worst. They're saying the new TUF lineup has better build quality but I wouldn't recomment it anyway, it has soldered memory, plus I am not convinced they have improved the build quality and yet kept the price in the same ballpark, there's definitely some shenanigans at play but we won't know until a few more years. As for Dell specifically, G15 is literally the worst option you can choose. Higher temps, very buggy control center software, too many QA issues and a terrible battery backup. But the Dell service center experience is much better than even Asus, according to majority users. And the 2nd SSD slot is physically non-existant, at-least according to other reviewers. There are mounting holes and stuff but the PCB is missing the m.2 connector, it still has the pins though so you could do a bit of manual soldering.

Vivobook is a thin and light creator laptop, so it's raw performance is not equal to the G15. G15 will perform much better in games. If you just want to play games then buy G15 and if you don't play much games and do content creation works like Photo Editing or Video Editing or color correction work then go with Vivobook!

According to Appario on amazon, the tgp on it is 90 W (80W + 10W dynamic Boost). My next video is about the G15 5525, it'll be out in a few days, I recommend you watch it before buying this one!

1. 12th gen i5 12500H outperforms even the Ryzen 9 5900HX, so it's a beast cpu. It's 43% faster than i5 11400H. 2. i5 11260H is slightly slower than i5 11400H. 3. The 84k for i5 12500H is totally worth it because it's performance is far better. 4. But if you don't want to spend that much and just want to play games and enjoy, then go with G15 with Ryzen 5 5600H, it has much better cooling system. 5. But if money is no constraint then i definitely recommend the i5 12500H, it'll last longer and will give you max performance.

@@SoulSlayer13 for cpu heavy workloads, yes! 12500H is a beast cpu. The lower tgp will make a difference but that's not huge. The only thing different in g15 is 120hz wva screen. Nitro 5 2022 is also a better alternative

If you buy from the acer store they'll upgrade the ram to 16gb if you ask them to. I am not sure about the warranty breaking, but i think as long as you let them open the laptop, it'll be fine

@@ajayasitis ​ ​There's not much difference between the Nitro 5 and G15 in terms of specs. Since both of their thermal systems are better now, the main factor will be DDR5 Ram and Upgradability. Nitro has DDR4 Ram but Dell offers DDR5, Nitro offers more storage options like 2 PCIe Gen4 M.2 Slots and 1 SATA 3 slot. Also Nitro 5 has a 144Hz IPS Panel whereas Dell has 120Hz WVA Panel. As far as daily performance goes, i don't think there will be much difference. DDR5 ram currently doesn't have a great advantage over DDR4 in gaming but in productivity workloads DDR5 might offer slightly better performance. I hope this helps you!

It's not like Acer straight up denies their customers their warranties, sometimes a few lazy employees cause trouble for the customers but you can always go to consumer court if anything goes extreme and they'll shit their pants.

@@minimumspec dude are u serious.. After sale service is also important man.. And my friend bought acer nitro.. And motherboard was gone in 2 montths.. Their service center is shit af. Thy took 20 days tl fix it.. And dint fix correctly. Within a day keyboards were not functioning.. They were rude.. It was under warranty too. Stop going to sentiments.. Dell is way better than acer

@@boss-fo4wz I've had the same experience with Dell and HP. Sometimes people working at the Service Centers are stupid and we have to deal with them accordingly. Nitro's used to have a lot of issues but Acer has improved considerably, that shouldn't be ignored. In the end, a buyer should make decisions on his own.

Acer nitro 5 2022 does not have a mux switch 😶

All the new tech of today will be old in next 6 months so don't worry about it. You will be able to play all the games with good good framerates and that's the most important part!

Bro have you seen the acer nitro, it's ugly poorly built loud and runs hot. The cooling by dell is way better and it The build quality speaks for itself. Also why would anyone buy the 3050ti when the 3060 gives a better price to performance ratio. i7 12700H is the best cpu in this range. Dell power brick is 240Watts while acer is 200w. Ie the gpu will be power starved. Pay a little more and get a laptop that will last you years instead of buy one new every other year.
