The expressions on your face after Eric kisses you and leaves is mesmerising! Brilliant acting! It reminded me of Cate Blanchett’s expressions in the restaurant during the last few moments of the movie ‘Carol’. I hope to see you in another movie sometime soon!

Great short movie with good acting too. It's lovely to see gay relationships being represented with mixed race partners. It's nice to have a happy ending too, especially with Donna Summer's brilliant 'Last Dance' added in on the soundtrack.

Starts out kinda corny but get really good. I almost cried i went thru the same thing...but im puerto rican and it was here in the West village in New York City. Guy was a rocker/musician I was a restaurant worker..his friends were so mean to me..eventually it all worked out and we lasted 24 years together until i left lol.

A great little film that has a gutsyness and fun to it. Hong Kong shines through in this film and I sincerely hope that HK can keep shining its great character to the world.

Thanks for watching, Russell! It’s truly heartbreaking to witness everything that has been happening to HK. I shot this film in 2018 and it feels like a lifetime ago. So much has changed, especially in regards to the emotional state of the people. I agree with you and hope HK’s lights keep on shining.

"It took some convincing." A second later, I burst out laughing. What a way of telling a complex story in just 15 minutes. I really enjoyed this. Shout out to everyone involved in this production.

Oh my gosh, the scenery, the plot, the camera angles is everything! I also loved the inclusion of the Cantonese dialogue as well! The only sad part is that it ended so soon :( keep up the amazing work!

This is about the fifth time I've watched this. It's so damn cute

This was pure joy to watch. Pacing was perfect, dialogue witty but not silly, and a musical score to match all the above. It is no small achievement that one falls in love with these characters in just 15 minutes of film. I could say so much more about the deft cinematography and uncommonly brilliant acting but I don’t want my praise to seem egregious. Suffice to say: this film MORE than *delivers*😊!

The lines are perfect for each character, I love it.

Loved this! It feels so strongly Hong Kong: the Mid-Levels escalators, the streetscapes, pedestrian light sounds, the people, Lasagne as name. I loved how this explored the expat-local divide. And to the actors - you were so good! ❤️ You felt so real; I feel like I know people just like Eric and Chun Ho. I can't wait to see more 😊 How about a movie?

Thank you. Today was a long day and this film made me smile. You truly captured those tender sparks of attraction and young love. The story was nicely crafted and well paced. The subtle bits of the opening scene of Chun Ho forgetting his jacket to establish a character trait to be used as a plot device later. Or humanizing Eric with a stomach growl. All very charming. Definitely a keeper for my short break desktop film festivals.

Great! Finally a nice gay character for an Asian boy. I really like it.

Don't question Jasper's loyalty - there was a suede jacket involved. I love an unconventional romance. A very entertaining film.👍

I just went through almost 500 comments, as I don't want to repeat . In fact all has already been said and almost everyone was excited, so was I. I only would like to comment that Phillip Smith, Eric in the film, is a most promising actor and I am glad that Hugo recognized his qualities. He is certainly ready for more acting work, wonder if he was guided in acting or that he is just a natural talent. Thank you for a most entertaining short film. 165.500 viewers in 18 days.....unbelievable. Congratulations from the Netherlands!!
