DELICIOUS Kuantan MALAYSIA Food Tour | MALAYSIAN Food in PAHANG | KUANTAN Malaysia Travel

Malaysia Street Food. Street food Malaysia. Malaysian food. Best street food in Malaysia. Kuantan food. Best Malaysian food. Food in Kuantan Malaysia. Malaysian street food. Best food in Malaysia. Malaysian food tour. Street food in Malaysia. Pahang street food. Street food in Pahang. Kuantan food tour.
Pahang is the largest state in peninsular Malaysia. Kuantan is the largest city in Pahang. This is our second video in Pahang, with our first being all about the famous mustang king durian in Raub.
Speaking of durian, we eat durian savory and sweet in this video! Pahang is famous for several dishes, including ikon patin tempoyak, a fresh water fish with fermented durian.
In this episode, we will show you 5 different street food in Pahang state, specifically the city of Kuantan, the largest city in Pahang. We will cover some of the best food in Kuantan. Hope you enjoy this Kuantan food tour.
We also took an incredible night time river cruise in Kuantan where we explored a mangrove park, watched the sunset, searched for crocodiles and watched fireflies come right to our boat! Thanks to ‪@KenAbroad‬ for inviting us ‪@Travelgramers‬ and ‪@JetLagWarriors‬ for this memorable experience! Definitely one of the best things to do in Kuantan.

Paksu means Young Uncle where Pak=Father (short for bapak) or Uncle or Sir depending on usage. Su=is short for bongsu which means the youngest in the family. So paksu means the youngest uncle. Whereas maksu means youngest auntie of that family. Its is an endearing term for our elders depending on where in the family rank they are. So you would have paklong...pakngah....paksu. meaning eldest uncle.....middle uncle and youngest uncle. So it is also for maklong...makngah and maksu.

Kula Cake's mango cheesecake originate from their restaurant Lila Wadi. It's a place famous for it's tom yam steamboat and mango cheesecake. Back then when Kula haven't started, the cheesecake actually tasted richer. Now it's mass produced to meet the demand and I am quite sure they had changed the type/brand of cheese they used. It just taste different. Still good but not the same. As usual, when things were commercialized... it changed. I didn't go there for years after I realized it tasted different, it's still popular though.

Oh yes we heard about how it came from Lila Wadi restaurant. Sad to hear that it doesn't taste as rich as it once did. That can be the downside of when places get very popular sometimes
