Ikan Patin Tempoyak is one of the top dishes we want to try. Keep hearing great things about it. Nice that there is a good place for it in Kuantan too!

ooo.. I believe I tried it before and yes it was very good but that was many many years ago when I had dinner with my family. I hope they keep their consistency and food quality for many more years to come.

We stayed 3 days in Kuantan in 2020. Great food. Will definitely go back in 2023. Taiwan; 3/2022.

These places are really good recommendations. Actually Kuantan has many more places to eat. Its just a small town but its a really nice and cozy place.

Totally agree Adrian which is why in the description, there are 5 more top rated places listed which we just couldn't squeeze them into our packed schedule. Besides these 13, I am very sure there are other amazing eats especially the up and coming ones. Another trip to Kuantan is required in the near future I am sure :)

paling best makan kat dallah kuantan . nasi arab sangat sedap. harga pon berpatutan. first try, nasi arab memang terbaik. korang boleh la cuba makan kat nasi arab dallah kuantan bawak skali family datang sebab ada menu untuk family pakej. best of nasi arab ever i eat. much of love.

LMAO.. Ron, we asked ourselves that very question too and bear in mind, we just came from Kula Cakes before this.. hahaha!

Other than Hoi Yin, you can try Telekom Curry Mee. Most Kuantanese are split to put thse two into top spot. 😜

LOL.. yeah I do hope our beloved 'JetLag Warriors' would visit Kuantan too

Can't believe you went out with Danger Darren a.k.a. The Flying Nasi Lemak and even got to eat some dishes for yourself. I think, the video is just too long (although I watched it all). Should've divided it by those 2 days and then the conclusion at the end of it all. Got some goon dishes there, the salted egg cuttlefish looked fantastic as did everything else there in that restaurant as well as the Dallah restaurant at the end.

In Kuantan, my favorite restaurants are Restaurant Alif Curry House and Restaurant Alor Akar.

Ana Ikan Bakar Petai! We visited their Bangi location a few months back and really enjoyed it. Ikan pari is great with the petai

Totally agreed... we enjoyed all the places we tried and if I had to choose my 3rd favorite, it would be Dallah for sure.

How was dallah restaurant service and the food.How was the waiters .How much will you give dallah out of 10

As with most of the places we ate this trip, the food was nearly all 10/10 which isn't surprising considering it's highly rated by diners. For Dallah, we had a great meal there and if I had to pick my 3rd favorite place, it would have been Restoran Dallah hands down. I must say their service was great and attentive as well.
