0:00 Recipe 1: (1 cup = 250 ml)
100 g sugar (1/2 cup)
2 eggs
A pinch of salt
250 ml cream (about 36% fat) 1 cup
Lemon peel
1 tablespoon lemon juice
600 g quark (with less fat) / cottage cheese (2 2/5 cups)
2 tablespoons wheat semolina
1 pack of vanilla pudding powder (37 g) - pudding powder for cooking pudding
60 ml milk (4 tablespoons)
Mix everything as shown in the video.
Baking pan: 24 cm (9.5 inches)
180 °C (356 °F) Celsius top and bottom heat for 50 - 55 minutes
Don't be alarmed, because the cheesecake will collapse again after baking. 😉
4:15 Recipe 2: (1 cup = 250 ml)
4 eggs (separated)
100 g sugar (1/2 cup)
100 g butter melted (1/2 cup)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Grate the peel of a lemon.
Juice of half a lemon
750 g quark (or cottage cheese / cream cheese)
150 ml milk (3/5 cup)
60 g corn starch (1/2 cup)
The egg whites of the four eggs
A pinch of salt
40 g sugar (1/5 cup)
Baking pan 26 cm / at least 10 inches
250 g blueberries (1 to 1 1/2 cups)
180 °C (356 °F) top and bottom heat for about one hour
After the baking time, turn off the oven and open the door.
Leave the cake in there for another 30 minutes.
To ensure that the cake sinks nicely, use a knife to loosen any protruding edges from the baking pan. (How I show it: 11:10)
