That was nice to see the ammeter showing a good charge. Satisfying even though I didn't put in the effort. I liked seeing it.

Yep, I was in the 85% confident it would charge mindset. Also took me back to when I used to remanufacture these when I worked for Delco. Good Times! Cheers my Friend! Zip~

Good job as always. Could you please show the process of setting the polarity to the generator before hook up? Thank you. I am getting ready to install my starter generator and want to do it right. Thank you.

Did you say you flashed the regulator? I know that generators need to be polarized but can't remember exact procedure. I enjoyed this series. Very informative. 👍

Yes. Simply put, use a jumper wire and momentarily touch one end to battery + terminal and then the other end to the A or Gen (it’ll be one or the other) terminal. Expect a spark and expect the starter to try and turn. It just takes a fraction of a second to polarize the generator and regulator.

how does the starter circuit work I would like to install a starter generator on an engine that doesn't have one'
