    Cormani's optimal course of action right now is to maintain silence and ensure that Coach Prime is fully aware of his intentions. If he aims to improve and secure playing time, he should communicate to the coach that he acknowledges his rocky start and is committed to doing whatever is necessary to prove his worth. On the other hand, if he desires a transfer, he can explore the option of the "TRANSFER PORTAL" chair.

    Yeah, go back a few weeks ago and it was vague, not ready yet. A week later, we have 85% buying in, we need to get the last 15% (Cormani was in that 15%) to buy in. A week later, it's Cormani fault why he's not seeing the field. A week later, man look, he's missing practices, missing film study, missing meetings. A few days later, we have a transfer portal chair. I will put a tape together to get you up out of here. Coach Prime is at limit. It wouldn't surprise me Coach Prime doesn't flat out cut Cormani. The only reason why he's made it this far is the immense potential Cormani has. I'm like this, The Buffs have 6 freshman corners on their roster right now. Carter Stoutmire, a Freshman right now is a better corner than Cormani. Cormani's ceiling is higher as I think Carter frame might be maxed out at 205 as a freshman. Cormani is only 165 so he has room to grow, and longer limbs means he can get his hands on you.

Truth be told, we have too many young corners. And Cormani lacks long speed. This is on Coach Prime, he wasn't a good fit and Coach Prime ignored some warning signs. Now if/when Cormani leaves, it opens up a spot for a new Left Tackle. A new effective D Tackle. Coach Prime went crazy on skill positions, but missed horribly on a few lineman and Linebackers. When Warren Sap joins the Buffs, I'm sure he will have his say on the D-Line.

    Nope, unless he goes to an average team where he can get his way. A top program like Georgia, Alabama, and FSU for example get 5 star guys all the time. He can't miss practice, meetings, and film study and think he's going to see the field at top colleges. Maybe central and south Florida colleges will put up with it. On the positive side, you can see his long limbs at work during practice from time to time. While slight, he does a decent job converting speed to power. Downsides, lack of elite speed, he has fast enough speed, but at practice, when players got off their jam, he was getting cooked. That is something he can work, maybe get on the track team and get his long speed up. He also needs to put on about 20 pounds. 165 at 6'2 is almost skin and bones. I had rib cage showing when I was 166 at 5'9 my freshman year of high school. I was 215 at 5'11 when I was done. So I question his weight room strength to be so tall, and so damn light.

  • @Velly2g

    @hababacon at practice he had a problem with the back pedal. In high school you can get away with a lot stuff 1 on 1 but at this level everything is a scheme. He has to study to learn that. Like the play where Travis Hunter dropped off the WR to intercept the RB.. You don't know that unless you're in the film room. I was watching the NFL 100 and Deon part came on, they showed him right before a game at his locker watching film. That's the dedication it takes to be great. I watched a video today and he said the word of the day for him is "on time" hopefully he learns.

  • @hababacon

    @hababacon

    @@Velly2g Yeah, the back pedal was a problem. I think the issue that was not dropping his hips. He tend to have his face leaning over his knees. He uses his long arms for redirection and jamming. However, when he over extends and needs to correct, his back pedal transition is slow allowing the WR to get a step or 2 on him. This can be corrected and Prime has tried to correct Cormani. This is part of my issue with the kid. He doesn't take training, doesn't watch film, which makes him unreliable. All fixable, but he needs to make the effort is what I'm getting from the situation.

Cormani was rightfully told how great of a high school football player he was, then he was pursued by many top college football teams. But, now he is at the next level and it requires a higher level of discipline, work ethic, and motivation. Coach Prime is the best coach to help develop his talent for the next level. If Cormani goes play for another top college football program, he is going to be told to do the same things Coach Prime is telling him or he will likely be cut by a white head coach. A white coach will NOT tolerate Cormani going on social media and broadcasting lyrics and other messages related to that white man’s football program! The white college chancellor, white athletic director, and white head coach coache won’t tolerate Cormani’s social media and other childish behavior.

    It's work ethic, one have to have or develop one to become a dominant football player/DB! There's some much for him to learn and prefect from a technique prospective such developing quick feet and learning how role and flip his hip when a reciver changes direction. Flim study of you opponent is key in readying their tendencies. I'm just saying 🤷 and want to see Cormani take his game to the next level😊
