Hey everyone! Hope you enjoyed the episode! One correction, the first photo showed is actually NOT a photo of Buffalo Bill Cody but a photo of the similar looking Wild Bill Hickok which would be a much funnier mistake if it wasn't the first image of the video. Regardless, have aa great week and make sure to hit that bell icon or whatever. Thanks!

my great great grandfather owned a gun shop and gallery in the Baltimore area back in the 1880's, he and Buffalo Bill shot guns and drank all night, they're best friends up until Bill passed in 1917. Now knowing that Walt Disney was in the presence of him and i guess more inspired then anything just makes my imagination run like crazy. Thanks for making these vids as great as they are!

Real gems of quotes. I swear this is a comedy. Don't know how Kevin did this without laughing. "The police began to quote 'stop trying'" "Which was good, because he was about to die" "Strongmen, magicians, and strongmen magicians" "A pool was added to the park after massive flooding"(probably my favorite) "Or as they are know today, a deep mischaracterization of events" "He was also known to start wrestling with the alligators. He died in 1915 from [pause] with pneumonia." "As per usual, the weather god declined to reply." Don't even want to type it out but the business joke, when the names of the businesses clearly made sense... then they didn't. (sad music) "their wealth dwindled down to only millions. which was still a ridiculous amount of money. "

Some of you have probably heard this anecdote, but for the benefit of those who haven't... One of the regular guests on Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show was famed gunslinger Annie Oakley. She would occasionally ask members of the audience if they would like her to shoot a cigarette out of their mouths, but no one was brave enough, so her husband would step in. While performing in Berlin in 1890. an audience member actually rose to the challenge; none other than Kaiser Wilhelm II, who was a big fan of hers. If you paid attention in history class, you probably know she succeeded (in shooting the cigarette out of his mouth without hitting him). According to the New York Times, a quarter-century later, after a certain frustrated Serbian nationalist had stopped for a sandwich and so on, she wrote the Kaiser to ask for another try. He didn't respond.

You got bits and pieces of it in the older videos (he's got some golden gems in his Action Park episode), but the last two episodes he's really just let himself go with the dry humor and it's honestly made the series a lot better. I just hope he keeps the balance between the two and doesn't go overboard with the humor.

The decemation of a unique native species always bums me out. They're still in danger today as they can and are interbreeding with domesticated cattle -- creating a hybrid with the fitting name beefalo. I can't really blame the guy, however. If Oregon Trail is historically accurate in its hunting minigame, they are incredibly fun and easy to shoot. A single bison was significantly over the 200 pound weight limit of meat you could carry back per hunt. I'd always blast three or four in a single round, leaving nearly a thousand pounds of meat to fester and rot under the hot prairie sun.

This story is very beautiful to me. It’s another reminder that we should appreciate pieces of our lives both big and small and never underestimate the power of a moment. If the brothers had decided to move their theme park somewhere else and Walt Disney had never been to it do you think we would have the amazing theme parks like we do today? It’s a beautiful sentiment that although I know the brothers were upset about their park burning done if there still out there somewhere they can be happy to know what an influence they’ve had on making this world just a little more magical.

I suspect that his time spent at Electric Park heavily influenced how he viewed Coney Island when he visited in the 30s/40s. Coney's prime was around 1904-1911. Ever since Dreamland burned, Coney was on the decline. It's amazing how quickly these turn of the century parks popped up and then subsequently burned down (or were washed away by a food).
