That is one sexy rig. The pedals look so nice set up like that - super clean without dust or marks.

and now steph switched to a line 6 helix floorboard in place of almost all of it because he said he actually had alot of issues trying to get axe fx to sound right for him for 3-4 years

I still use my Rocktron Replifex to this day. It has some of the most analog sounding mod fx you'll likely ever hear in rack equipment.

It's funny how the G Major sells for less and on paper it is supposed to be better. G major sounds like VST compared to the replifex.

So that Bradshaw midi controller controls everything including that AxeFx? Can you still control AxeFx full on with that in that setup like switching presets, scenes, and FX blocks within that actual AxeFx unit?

Been playing guitar for a very long time and the amounts of technology for sound engineering is insane these days .. I honestly heard preamps pedals loops and the rest is like how does this alp connect together?? When I play two pedals in series with my Line 6 Helix it chokes the signal out - I’m sure there are videos out there of the fundamentals but still - doesn’t seem like a walk in the park type stuff

@@8_cat._.hat_8 Negative. Like I said I keep selling them off. I don't even have one for myself. I buy one, really enjoy it for a while then think to myself "It's not perfect. " so I sell it off. Then I miss it after a couple of years. And the vicious cycle continues haha.

On paper, I think his tone should sound like garbage! But Steph's heavy tones have been some of my favorites going back to 1997 when I saw them @ St. Andrew's in Detroit. There couldnt have been 150 ppl there. I remember Chino jumping off the top of the house AP system, which I measured years later, is 13½ feet high. There was MAYBE 10 ppl under him when he leapt and the crowd was so hype when he landed about 50 ppl were under him. First and last time I ever saw anyone jump off that speaker tower(That said i can remember) He didn't wimp out and do that Im slowly sliding off this this thing....no, he fuckin JUMPED OFF THAT BITCH, which had to have added another 2-3 feet of air. Thats how crazy those shows were back then. Such amazing memories! In 1998 they played Warped tour, then the next time i saw them was after white pony and they headlined the historical Cobo Arena(see the band KISS and feature length film for details on Cobo lol) Taproot opened for them which was awesome, bcuz at the time Fred Durst was trying to black ball Taproot from the music industry but theyre local Michigan boys and they hold their own. mucho respeto a la Deftones. ¡Mucho respeto a Chi, te extrañamos brutha!
